"Did you miss me?" Kai whispered while hugging me.

The producers finished filming the episode so everyone felt more relaxed.

I gently put my hand on his cheek and gently stroked his face with my thumb. Kai leaned in more like a cat.

"Of course," I replied. I decided to take his hand and just lead him to the room I'm staying in since people started staring at us at our display of affections. I had questions that I wanted to ask Kai but I didn't feel comfortable with other people listening to our conversation.

"Where are you taking me?" Kai asked me as if I was talking to a place where we could be very intimate with each other. Though we would be doing something intimate tonight but not right now.

"Somewhere private to talk, since after the challenge results, more people became curious about us." I chuckled as we arrived at my quarters.

"How long will you be staying?" I asked Kai. Since he was buried at work, I know that he doesn't have that much time.

"I plan to depart at the same time as you." Kai's answer surprised me.

"Why so? Did you delegate your work to Allen?" I could imagine Allen would be cursing at Kai who would often like to delegate his duties to Allen so Kai could spend more time with me.

"First of all, I missed you, I suffer agony when I can't spend days with you, my darling." It was Kai's turn to brush his fingers against my face.

"Secondly, I also came to see how the new siren settlements are doing." I almost forgot about the project. Then Kai sat down on the sofa.

"And thirdly, it appears that the numbers of the female rogues have drastically decreased over the past year," Kai informed and then in my head, it clicked to me that I've never told him the reason why there are fewer female rogues.

"Ah, forgot to mention that before I met you the werewolf council was already aware of the disappearance," I mentioned to him and Kai tsked then sighed.

"If you mentioned that earlier, I would be able to save time and resources," Kai said softly as he estimated.

There a lot of money could be saved during the duration of our marriage if I mentioned it when I found out about the Moonlight Sanctuary.

"Are you mad at me for not telling you earlier?" I asked Kai. He only smiled at me and gestured to sit on his lap. I obliged his request and sat in his while he circled arms around me.

"Of course not, how can I ever be mad at you? It's my fault for not asking you earlier."

"Besides, it's never too late to adapt our plans." As he nuzzled my neck.

On the next day, I promised my father that I will visit him for dinner with Kai to have a big family dinner and celebrate Aaron and Stella finding each other.

I guess it's the first time we are having that kind of meal when I and Aaron bring our significant other.

Before going to my father's house I decided to visit Alpha Frank's grave. Kai decided to stay in the car since he needed to take an important phone call and he didn't want to interrupt my visit.

There were still fresh flowers lying on Alpha Frank's grave signifying that pack members still respect him after his death. Alpha Frank was a good alpha who treated everyone fairly. He improved living conditions in this pack and gave more opportunities to the members of the pack.

"Excuse me, are you Evelyn Bonnet?" The person asked when I turned to him I saw a man that was in his forties who was dressed very well.

"Yes?" I answered.
