Hours and hours went by. The storm had passed, letting the dropship full of teenagers know when the dropship had eventually stopped shaking and the raindrops that continued pounding on the roof of the dropship had quieted down. It was calm. For now. The teenagers didn't know what time it was, but they knew when the doors had opened and the sun was hiding from the clouds, letting them know it was the middle of the day.

Still on the bottom floor of the dropship with a blanket over her body, Y/n's e/c eyes slowly flutter open, the sound of chattering from outside the dropship filling her eardrums. The Murphy girl couldn't help but feel a small bit of weight of her right hand, making her glance up a little, seeing Bellamy sitting by her bedside in a chair, her hand in his.

The boy didn't seem to notice her as he was looking down at his feet. Taking a glance to her right, her eyes watch as Raven and Finn spoke to one another quietly. The boy was also in the same situation as her, a blanket over himself, Raven sitting by her boyfriend's bedside as they talked, small smiles on their faces.

Y/n couldn't help but smile at the sight of them, wishing she had a relationship like theirs. However, she didn't really know what was happening between them and with Clarke. Glancing back at Bellamy, the girl watches him with a tired smile, lightly squeezing his hand in hopes to make him look at her. She knows she accomplished it when his wide eyes meet her tired ones.

"Hey." Y/n whispers, smiling tiredly.

Bellamy smiles in relief. "Hey. How are you feeling?"

Y/n scrunches her face up slightly. "Sore. Tired. But I'm alright."

"I was so scared. I thought I-- I thought I lost... you." Bellamy admits in a whisper.

"But you didn't." Y/n reminds, shaking her hand and squeezing his hand again.

"But I could've. It's all my fault." Bellamy murmurs, looking down.

"Hey." Y/n begins, resting her other hand on top of his, making him look at her. "If it was anyone's fault, it's mine. I'm the one who chose to follow you. I'm the one who decided to help you look for Octavia because she's my best friend and I care about her. And you. So don't blame yourself, this is all on me. Okay?" Bellamy hesitantly nods in response. "Say it. Please."

"Okay." Bellamy repeats in a whisper, staring into her e/c orbs.

"I think John would've killed you if he ever found out, anyway." Y/n jokes quietly.

Bellamy let's out a small chuckle, nodding. "Probably right."

The two share a small chuckle before it goes silent again, his brown eyes staring into her e/c ones once again. Bellamy found himself glancing down at her lips, her doing the same thing. Just as he goes to lean in, the padding of feet makes him stop as Y/n looked over, watching as Clarke walks over, stopping on her other side.

"Hey you." Clarke greets with a soft smile.

Y/n smiles at her. "Hey, blondie." Her words make Clarke chuckle.

"How you feeling?" Clarke questions.

Y/n shrugs. "I'll get better. So, what happened?"

"The blade the grounder had was poisoned. But we got an antidote." Clarke assures, resting her hand on the girl's shoulder and giving her a small squeeze.

Y/n nods a little. "Good."

"Thank God." A voice suddenly whispers.

Just as Y/n turns her head to the sound of the voice, she only catches a glimpse of her best friend rushing over to her before the brunette's arms wrapped around the Murphy girl. Y/n immediately hugs the Blake girl back, ignoring the slight pain. As that happens, Clarke walks off with a small smile, gaze lingering on the two girls hugging before she walks outside.

"Take it easy there." Bellamy warns, reminding his sister of Y/n's injury.

Octavia pulls away from her best friend, but kept her hands on her arms. "You scared the shit out of me, Y/n/n."

Y/n frowns. "I'm sorry, O."

Neither of the girls seemed to notice Bellamy watch them with a little smile as he stood up, making his way into the corner of the room, going to get the Murphy girl a glass of water, knowing she'll need it after what Clarke told him.

"Bellamy was a wreck. I could see he was concerned for you the whole time. He wouldn't stop hitting the grounder until he got answers on how to save you." Octavia recalls.

"Wait, what?" Y/n asks.

Octavia sighs, closing her eyes. "There's... a grounder upstairs. On the third floor."

"Is he alright? The grounder, I mean?" Y/n questions.

Octavia nods. "He's getting better. He'll get there."

The Murphy girl nods in response before leaning upwards, hugging her best friend again. The Blake girl instantly hugs back, both girls holding one another close just as Bellamy climbs back down. A little smile appears on his lips upon seeing the girl he deeply cares for and his sister.
