The chirps of the birds in the sky were loud in the forest, adding to the loud chirps of the crickets as heavy pants filled the air as well. The occasional snap of twigs echoed throughout the woods from the animals and people as the ventured on the muddy ground. Hours had gone by since the three females had escaped Mount Weather and the grounder out of the three had practically taken the two teenagers hostage to take them back to her village, almost as a trophy or an apology from what happened to her own men back at the dropship.

Clarke and Y/n continued to find themselves getting tired by the minute as Anya continued to drag them, pulling on the cloth that was around their wrists, tying them together. Since they left the river, Anya hadn't given them a break to stop and at least sit down for a few minutes, clearly not being patient as she wanted to take them back to her people and to get further and further away from the river where Mount Weather was just right there. Ever since they escaped, Y/n kept thinking about her own people. Were they alright? Were they safe?

Was he alright?

"Anya, we've been walking for hours. Where are we going?" Clarke pants out through a question.

"Quiet." Anya hisses.

Y/n sighs. "Why not just kill us and get it over with?"

"You two can tell the commander what the mountain men are doing to us in there." Anya informs.

"So let's work together." Clarke suggests, pulling on the cloth which makes them stop and Anya turns around. "We don't have to be enemies."

"And unite with someone as weak as you two?" Anya snaps tiredly. "I have what I need."

"Hey. We all want the same thing." Clarke states.

Before either one of them says anything, Anya's eyes catch sight of a green laser-like line that was aimed in their direction. As quick as she could, she grabbed ahold of the teenagers, pulling them down just as a dart flies in their direction, nailing right into a tree trunk. After that, shouts could be heard from deep voices all around.

"They found us." Y/n realizes.

"Run." Anya demands.

Still holding the cloth that was around their wrists, she stands up, the teenagers following as they all rush off. But as they do so, Clarke reached over and grabbed the dart from the tree before continuing forward. For minutes, they were running, soon turning that into a walking pace as they had been able to lose the mountain men. For now, at least. As they walked down a small hill, a loud twig snapped when Y/n accidentally stepped on it as Anya continued dragging her and Clarke.

"Quiet. You two can't even walk in the woods." Anya points out.

"If we're such a burden, then cut us loose." Y/n sneers through her pants.
