The sun was still hidden beneath the clouds, the loud chirps of the birds as the animals flew high up in the sky, not paying any attention to what was happening down below them with the grounders and the sky people. Insects flew all around in the air, buzzing past people's ears to make their appearance known while some hid in the tall grass in the forest around Tondc.
The sound of speaking adding to the sound of insects and birds as people glanced around, knowing what was about to happen. Beneath the ground where the occasional dinner was supposed to happen between the sky people and the grounders was still a mess after the grounders left and later took Raven away.
The said Reyes girl could be seen in the middle of the village, her wrists bound together over top of her head by rope as she was pinned to a wooden pole. The grounders of the village stood all around, including Raven's own people as they watched nervously, trying to find someway that they could save their friend.
Lexa had a grip on the handle of her sword that was in her side holster as she stood in front of the brunette, her green eyes meeting Raven's brown ones as the sky girl shook in her spot, fear coursing through her.
"I take no joy in this, Raven." Lexa starts. "But this time, justice will be done."
Raven sniffles. "I didn't do it. How is that justice?"
Not bothering to answer as she only stepped forward, the commander stares into the girl's eyes as she presses her knife to her arm before digging the blade into her skin, creating a large cut, making the girl cry out in pain.
Bellamy felt Y/n's hand release from his as she stepped forward, claiming they needed to do something. However, Kane held her back as Indra walked forward, lifting Raven's shirt up and digging her blade into her stomach, making another large and deep cut, which caused the Reyes girl to scream out loudly in pain.
"Lincoln, talk to them. These are your people." Octavia states as she looks to her lover.
"Not anymore." Lincoln replies, stepping to Nyko.
"You're no longer safe here, my friend. I'll do my best to make sure you get away." Nyko reassures in whisper. "Then you'll be on your own."
The two men had their hands conjoined before they shared a small hug as more grounders came up to cut Raven with their knives. Bellamy wrapped his hand back around Y/n's as Abby called down to her daughter who was still down below.
Soon enough, however, the blonde was rushing up the stairs and past them, calling out that she needed the bottle. Lexa allowed her to past as they all stopped, blood now laying around Raven's body a bit as Y/n was quick to follow the blonde with Bellamy behind her.
