Part 16

*Karina's P.O.V*

"Finally!" Yeji shouted stretching her body right after we got off the bus.

I kind of feel bad for yeji, I've been clinging onto her since earlier and also for ryu since they can't have their baby time.

I roamed my eyes around the site and saw people taking pictures of the astonishing view in front of them.

My eyes landed on a specific figure that I immediately recognized, it's winter with sulky ryujin. It seems like winter's dragging ryujin out the bus with an apologetic smile before saying sorry for the delay that Ryujin caused.

"Ryujin para ka'ng bata," Winter sternly said pointing at ryujin who's now pouting. "Tignan mo oh pinag hintay mo sila." Winter then pointed at us.

Yeji walked towards them catching ryujin's eyes. Ryujin was quick to hug yeji which made me chuckle.

"Yeji, inaaway ako ni winter.." I can hear ryujin making sumbong kay yeji.

Umiling si winter, "Hindi kita inaano ryujin, tsaka muntikan mo pa ako masukahan kanina sa kabalastugan mo." Winter rolled her eyes.

I remembered moments ago while we're on the bus. Ryujin was just too hyper to settle down sa seat nya, kaya naman ay panay sya tayo at sulpot kung saan saan but mostly kami ni yeji binubulabog nya.

With that she got car sick and started to feel dizzy, but winter was quick to massage her temple and give her something strong to sniff like katinko.

But that didn't work and as you guessed it ryujin almost threw up kay winter.

I walked alone around the site before settling down sa railings sa end ng tourist destination. The city and mines can be seen from here and there are also foods that are sold by the Ifugao's.

"Hey.." Winter settled down beside me, basically hugging herself from the cold weather of Baguio.

I didn't greet her back.

There's still this bitterness in me that I just can't seem to get over with.

I'm childish right? I can't believe this is how I handle rejection.

Maybe because it's the first time I got rejected by someone.

Kahit na indirect and rejection.

"Galit ka ba?" Winter asked now looking at me. It's funny how this was the same position we had while having a conversation last night.

Makakakuha din ba ako ng isa pang rejection?

Funny how Karina Yu just got rejected by a Winter Kim.

"I'm not." I simply answered. The lie couldn't seem to work on winter making her sigh which irritated me.

"What do you want ba?" I impatiently asked, crossing my arms while looking at her sternly.

"Kasi nalayo ka sa'kin Karina," Winter mumbled.

"At ano naman sayo kung nalayo ako?" I locked our gaze.

She bit her lower lip trying to find the words to say.

"Ayaw ko ng gano'n, Karina. Hindi ko gusto na nalayo ka sa'kin." She confessed.

"Kaya naman mag bati na tayo at sorry na sa kung ano man ang nagawa ko. Kasi hindi ko gusto yung nararamdaman ko sa tuwing nalayo ka." Winter let out a sigh.

I turned my head towards her and as you guessed, our eyes met right a way.

"Wag mo na guluhin si yeji ha? Ako nalang. Kawawa kasi si ryujin parang batang inagawan ng candy." Winter said before pointing at the others who are now heading our way.

"Ano bati na kayo?" Gi asked. I didn't answer, instead I walked towards her giving a hard and loud slap on her arm.

"What was that for?!" Giselle looked terrified. "You deserve it Giselle." I stated.

I sat at the near by bench looking ahead. Naghaharutan na naman si Ryujin and Yuna while Winter's getting centered by the two.

Inaasar kasi ni Yuna si Ryujin na hindi siya sasagutin ni yeji kaya napailing ako. That girl is whipped kay Ryujin kaya, but I do wonder why they aren't together and still on their dating phase.

"Aray ko naman! Karina oh!" Winter called out my name, pointing at Ryujin who's now headlocking her. I raised my brow at them. Para naman kasing May magagawa ako and if I tell them to stop it'll seem like napaka kj ko na tao.

I let them be making winter pout, deserve niya ma-headlock by Ryujin! I'm still bitter about it.

"Ang grumpy ah," Yeji sat down beside me, also eyeing the two that are still bickering. We both let out a sigh before diverting our attention to something else.

"Bati na kayo?" Yeji asked habang umiling naman ako. Why would we make up when we didn't really fought.

"Why would we? Hindi naman kami nag away." Mahina kong sagot. "What if sasagot na sana si winter kung hinintay mo?"

I shrugged while smiling bitterly. "You and your what if's Yeji, stop playing with me."

"Nag babaka sakali lang," Sagot niya bago ako siniko. Yeji pointed at the others na ngayon ay papunta somewhere, sakto naman yung sigaw ni Giselle calling me and Yeji na sumunod.

"Hoy tara kain!" Gi shouted. Sabay kaming Tamayo at nag lakad kung saan sila ngayon. There's a taho vendor pala that's selling different varieties of taho; there's the original which consists of arnibal then ube and strawberry.

I wanted to try the ube flavored taho so that's what I ordered. The others ordered the strawberry flavored taho since kuya said it's the best selling taho around here.

I fished out a whole one thousand peso bill to pay for them but winter stopped me. "500 lang kasya na, ako na mag babayad." She smiled, giving kuya the 500 bill.

I sat down beside yeji since naunahan ko na naman Ryujin which made her no choice than to sit next to winter.

"Where are we going next?" Lia asked. We decided to browse some of the tourist sites we can go to for our 3 remaining days.

Sumakto din na tomorrow will be our free day kaya pwede kami pumunta wherever we want.

"Burnham park?" Yuna suggested. We all nod and put her suggestion in consideration. Nag sabi din sila ng iba't iba pang tourist attractions pero nanaig yung burnham park.

"Uhm, baka hindi kami makasama ni Ning.." Singit ni winter. We all turned to her while Ning looks confused why.

Do they have somewhere to go to bukas? Then they should've said before hand.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" Ning asked. Winter smiled widely before answering, "Puntahan natin si nana,"

"Nana mo??!" All of them shouted in unison except for me and gi who's confused kung sino si nana.

"Si jaemin!" Ryujin excitedly shouted.

Oh, him.

I leaned in sa table, putting my head on the palm of my hand para makasagap pa ng chika nila.

"Sama kami! Anong kayo lang ha?" Pag pilit ni Yuna kay winter, shaking her. "Sabi ko kay nana kami lang ni Ning.." Winter motioned to stop, sighing deeply.

"Pero sige, sama na kayo.." She said clearly in defeat. The table went louder, cheering at winter who's now scratching her temple.
