"I can't believe you're getting married"
"I love him I really do"
"I know you do, this is all happening so fast!"

"We'll look at you" Enas mum, Janet, comes in teary eyed "you look so grown up, so gorgeous, perfect!" I begin to tear up
"Oh no no, you look so pretty don't smudge your makeup Lara, dear" Janet hold my face in both of her hands

The dress I'm in a single shoulder dress, it comes in at the waist and flows out.

We're standing around the corner of the isle, flowers of all shades of pinks and white are scattered everywhere.
"Okay calm down, just deep breaths. In and out" Ena copies my breathing "you know everyone out there. It will be okay"
"Yep Yep I know, I just thought we'd get married to each other"
"We'll see each other in less then 10 seconds okay? Okay!" And I step out onto the isle, eyes drag towards me, stuck to me like glue. Focus forward Lara, focus forward. Clay, nick, George, alex, Karl, bad or Daryl and clays brother all stand up at the alter together. I take my place next to Enas sister.

I can't believe my best friend is getting married.

And out she comes an array of white, an angle. Nicks face lights up, I see a tear fall from his eye and then a sniffle.

The wedding takes place, and now I'm taking full advantage of the free bar at the reception.
"God look how far we've all came in 4 years" clays appears next to me at the bar "fuck, I mean my best friends just got married"
"Clay, it's okay, you're still as pretty as ever, just older, and look how your business has taken off, you're a self made man"
" Bouquet toss" a random girl screams
"I'll be right back, I love you" I peck his lips
"Love you too"

"Okay" a Cheshire Cat smile hasn't left her face since she woke up. "Everyone gather round around!" And so a group of unwed girl gather around her.
"3...2...1..."everyone shouts in synchronisation and the flowered take flight, petals come off in the air and as if magic they land in my hands
"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! I caught the flowers. I caught the flowers! CLAY I CAUGHT THE BOUQUET" where is he, my head spins around looking for him, my eyes dart from place to place but I can't find him
"Kingsey?" He's kneeling in front of me with a ring box "kingsey?" I nod scared of I speak I'll cry "I know it's not been 5 years like we spoke about but I love you, and even though you're English I love you. You my best friend, my lover, my everything. I want you for the rest of my life. You're the best thing I have" I drop to his level
"Wait, No, get up what are you doing" I try and pull his hands up up he resists
"Do you not want to marry me?"
"Of course I do! Put it on me!" He glides it in my finger "oh my god we're getting married!" I squeal. He stands as do I and I wrap my arms around his neck and he lifts me and spins me around

"Is this what you're doing with your wedding night?" I lay face to face with Ena
"I wouldn't do anything else, I can't believe you're getting married. Oh my fuck!" We squeal
"Don't have any babies just yet, we can have them at the same time and they'll be cousins"
"Don't you think we live such a good life?" I nod "Christ sake you work in a lab and I work in the governs office! Our boyfriends own their own company, I love living"
"Husbands" I correct
"Husbands"
