KAEDE'S POV:
Two days, It's been two days since my last talk with Haru. I've visited the student council room but there's no one there either, not a single soul. Everything was clean too, no papers scattered on every desk, weird, because it was filled with tons of paperwork just two days ago. I've asked the other students too if they've seen any of the members, but to my dismay, no one has seen them. It is utterly impossible for them not to be seen, because the council members are always roaming through the school halls . It's like they turned into soap bubble and just vanished.
I tried contacting each and every one of them. Though, it always ends with the voice message tone. It's only been two days but I'm already worried. I mean, what could've happened two days ago that I didn't detected and caused the whole student council to vanish? The only thing I did that is quite remarkable is that I showed Momobami-san around he campus. That's basically it.
"Have you heard the student council news?"
"yeah, I've heard. It is said that The presidential seat passing is will occur tomorrow afternoon."
"Do you know who the hell will replace President Sakamoto?"
This is what I heard of the talk of the students first thing in the morning when I got here. When I asked them about what's happening, they laughed at me and didn't answer. When lunch came, I've gone straight to the newspaper club, they are the ones who handles all of the gossip and information about the school. There, they gave me the latest published newspaper.
And there was written as a headline:
SAKAMOTO HARU STEPPING OUT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL SEAT DUE TO A LOST BET, THE NEW PRESIDENT IS YET TO BE REVEALED.
TOMORROW, AT 3:00 PM, THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY FOR THE NEW PRESIDENT WILL COMMENCE.
WHO IS OUR MYSTERY PERSON, WILL THIS CHANGE CAUSE A MAJOR CHANGE TO THE SCHOOOL TOO?
He lost a bet?? This is bad. This is probably why all of the student council members are absent for two days now. I should've seen this coming, Haru has been acting strange for a while now. Someone probably became a threat to his presidential seat. He must've felt uneasy.
"Kaede? are you okay?" I looked behind my back and I saw my classmates looking at me.
"I'm okay, there's nothing to worry about." I said as I try to give them a little smile to assure them.
"Huh, you think we will actually say that?? Your 'president Haru' is no longer here to command us nd pay for your piled up debts Kaede." Kisaki said smirking at me.
"Is there anything I can help you with, then?" I tried to say politely as possible because what they say is true. For fuck's sake, I actually forgot about the consequences if this somehow happened. I just need for them to leave me alone for now so I can try and find Haru, he must be disappointed himself because of his loss.
"Stop that façade, bitch. You won't be able to leave our grasp now."
"HAHAHAAHA, Why don't you just pay all of your remaining debts to us so we will stop bothering you."
"I'm sorry, I don't have that f money right now. If you would spare me some days so I can get that mo--"
My word's were cut off as I felt stinging in my cheek.
"Does that slap make you realize how pathetic you are??"
"Does slapping her giving you satisfaction?" said someone. And that specific someone is none other than Momobami Kirari.
They all turned around and basically shook when they saw her. For some reason they are intimidated, or, rather, scared. This could be because they saw how she's good at gambling? Or is there any other reason? I don't know, but I certainly am thankful that she came. All of our classmates practically scrambled away as far as they can go.
"Thank you Momobami-san." I said. Though, it seemed that she didn't heard it because she's already walking away. Well, she probably heard it but just didn't cared enough to acknowledge me or at least look back. She really is intimidating.
KIRARI'S POV:
*phone rings*
"Kirari, how is your day at school?"
"Fine."
"And did you manage to develop your new hobby?"
"Yes. In fact I already took the first step."
"That's fast. How did you did it?"
"You know how I did it. Through gambling, of course."
"Is he difficult to win over?"
"Not at all Ririka, in fact, he's very easy to read."
"What are you planning to do now?"
"The second step. I have plans for this school."
"Is there any interesting things there?"
"I think I found something quite different from the others."
"I see. When can I transfer there?"
"It's too soon Ririka, after I've established my plans fully, you can transfer here."
"Ok. I have to go now."
"Go on. I have things to finish here."
