 3RD PERSON'S POV:

The doctor finally came out of the room. She can finally rest easy and figure out where she is. Currently, she's in a luxurious room she could ever dream of. The softest bed, the almost "cinematic" like television that is facing the bed, the side table with the lampshade, the walls with different painting from different periods, the two layered velvet curtains together with the window that gives all of the nice views you can see. This room is flawless and very aesthetic, nothing was out of place and everything fits with each other.

She could've left the bed and explore the three doors in this room, the first one on the left side is already known. It connects to the outside of the room which is the hallway where the doctor came and gone out. But there she is, just lying on the bed helplessly. At this point, she's hopeless; her mind is in static condition and her body doesn't have enough energy to even move a tiny muscle slightly. So she just stayed there not knowing where she is or who these people are. Why was she even brought here? Is she brought here by those school thugs that found her in the basement? She doesn't even know what fully happened that night; but she was sure that she was raped. After all, what could possibly stop those demons of a people. No, she doesn't cry anymore. She just feels utter numbness.

Minutes, Hours, Days? She does not know when the next person entered the room. But she did recognized the person, though. The woman she loathed all this time. The white haired girl with the two braids; the girl who was always a mystery to her. Is she the root of all of this? Why was she here in the first place? Is this another one of her damn "slavery again"? She just closed her eyes trying to sleep again. For her, it is better to be homeless again than staying in a luxurious house with the president herself.

Kirari, on the other hand, stalked the room and observe the helpless girl lying on her bed. She parted the curtains to let the sunlight pass through. After what happened to the girl, she thought that a little sunlight would help her other than a air conditioned room and a soft bed. She set the boxes of medicines at the bedside table and sat down at the sofa facing the bed.

"Kaede?" she longed for an answer. Though, she didn't got it as Kaede kept her eyes closed not really wanting to talk with someone she never wanted to saw on the first place.

"Kaede, I know you're awake." She said softly. Still no answer. Only silence came back to her.

"Ok then, I understand that you want to rest. But, you really need to take your medicine." Her voice still dancing with softness, Kaede finally opened her eyes. However, still not a word was uttered through her dry lips.

"Here let me help you sit up." Kirari stood up from her seat and approached the bed. She helped Kaede to sit up. Kaede, on the other hand, wanted to protest from  Kirari's touch. She never uttered a word against Kirari, though. Even if she did, it would all be useless action. She doesn't have the strength to move around.

"Here, drink this." Kirari gestured the spoon of medicine for her to drink. Kaede just stared at it, thinking that it might be poison.

"It's not poison, love. Drink it so you'll be better in no time." she chuckled. Kaede opened her mouth to let the spoon in; she then swallowed her medicine. Not expecting the medicine to be so bad, her throat was hurt from the bitterness of the said "demon-spawned" medicine. A coughing fit followed; Kirari immediately grabbed a glass of water. Kaede looked like she was choking to the medicine and Kirari was getting frantic about it. No matter what she said to Kaede to take the water, it was as if she never heard her.
