"ℜ𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱." You grabbed the list of questions and sat down, grabbing a pencil to write down his answers. "Where is the army positioned to invade from?"

"West gate and Northern bridge, they're gonna move in at the same time and force the army against the river," he replied immediately. "You're really pretty."

"Thank you," You nodded, marking down the points just so you didn't forget them. He'd answered part of the second question already. This was going to be even easier than you'd thought. "When is the 'same time'?"

"We need an arrangement," He said instead of answering.

You raised an eyebrow. "What sort of arrangement?" You asked the question in spite of yourself, curious as to his answer.

"One that makes me wanna answer your questions," He said with what's obviously meant to be a wink.

"Oh, good idea. Like, I unhandcuff you if you tell me." You 'played along' with a nod.

"No, that's part of the experience," the prince explained patiently. "It needs to be something I want." He wiggled his eyebrows at you and you fought back a giggle.

"Well what do you want then?" You crossed your legs and leaned slightly forwards, looking at him with a small smile playing on your lips.

"A kiss," He replied promptly, and even though you were expecting the answer you couldn't help but laugh softly. "Every answer gets a kiss."

"What time are they coming?" You asked, hoping to coax a free answer out of him whilst he was distracted.

"At-" He began, clamming up immediately. It looked like it took severe effort, and you had to admire how persistent he was.

"I can wait you out, you know." You examined your fingernails. The drug would make him talk, and you had no reason to accept his proposal.

He eventually burst, "Pum cloche!" And then proceeded to smirk at you, looking entirely too smug.

You cursed softly. The flurana had no way to tell if he was speaking in common or not, only to make him say what was forefront on his mind. And bringing an interpreter in would take too much time.

You shot a glance at the door. Surely there couldn't be much harm in taking his deal. The whole reason you were here was to get him to talk, and your time was running out.

"Okay, fine." You moved your chair closer to his so your knees were nearly touching. "I'll take your deal."

"At 5 bells." He blurted immediately. You noted the time on the paper and glanced up. He was looking at you in a way that made your stomach flutter slightly with anticipation, and you sighed and leaned in, lightly pressing your lips to his for a brief moment before pulling away.

He let out a sound that was near a growl of annoyance, looking up at you with a soft scowl. "Rydych chi'n erchyll, wn i ddim pam dwi'n dy garu di."

"I don't know what that means," You told him with a little grin.

He slumped back against his chair with a sigh. "Unhandcuff me, Princess."

"I thought it was part of the experience?" You raised an eyebrow at him, not liking his commanding tone. You were in your kingdom now, and he was going to play by your rules.

Blind Diamond made that noise again and oh goodness did it do things to your insides. Leaning forwards he peeked at your question list. "Two legions per invasion point, 600 cavalry and 2000 foot soldiers equally divided. They'll probably head for the palace first, straight march there through anything and anyone. This is only the first wave; most of their strategy is brute strength, pushing and pushing until they eventually win. They'll test out your defenses here, see how much resistance they get, then bring in the big guns."

He sat back as you scribbled numbers frantically before looking up at him. He cocked an eyebrow in your direction. "I'm waiting, Princess."

"For what?" You asked, unsure if he wanted you or the handcuffs gone.

"My reward." He smirked at you, and you sighed, getting up and grabbing the key, moving behind him and unlocking the leather cuffs from his hands, leaving them on the chair. On your way back around to your chair, he grabbed your wrist carefully and pulled you down for a sweet kiss. You didn't resist. You'd as much promised him a kiss anyway, and okay, maybe you kind of liked it.

Unfortunately, the door chose that moment to open, so you jerked away quickly. Your prince let you go, settling back into his chair with nonchalance you were completely sure was unfeigned and stretching.

"I got the questions filled." You handed the list to David, slightly breathless and remarkably flustered. He rolled his eyes and took it from you.

"I'm sleepy. Y/N, does your palace have bedrooms?" Blink mumbled his question from the chair, suddenly looking very tired.

"I'll take him to his room." You muttered, tugging the foreign crown prince carefully to his feet. "Let him sleep it off."

"We'll need you for planning," David said, before sparing a glance for the pirate. "You know what, just meet us in the room when you've dealt with him."

"That sounded scary," Blink said, clutching your hand tightly. "But I've got some ideas how you can deal with me, if you need help." He 'winked' at you again, and you shook your head and pulled him out the door.

It took some maneuvering to get him through the maze of palace back to the royal wing and then to convince him to stay there. You ended up sitting next to his bed until he finally passed out from the drug, fending of his many flirtatious comments. Apparently he'd been leaving a lot unsaid that you couldn't help but feel grateful for. You'd definitely never be able to be intimidated by him again after this.

Easing your way from the guest suite, you looked down at your gold sari and went to change into something more war-appropriate. It had done its job.
