• Chapter 41 •

The rivalling match between each of the teams in the All-Japan Youth Camp is just getting started but how are things going on Tsukishima's side.

"Nice receive!", Kogane cheered bringing the ball towards Kindaichi when a looming hand stopped that flow of their play and blocked the ball back to their side.

"Arghhh!!!! Sorry that set was short!!!", Kogane apologized in frustration on himself while tightly gripping his hair.

Meanwhile, Kindaichi just frowned while looking at Tsukishima who just blocked his spike.

He's getting better and better the last time I played against him.

The game ended with 25-20 and Tsukishima went to his bag immediately to check his phone.

A smile curved its way onto his lips as Tsukishima began to type something on his phone.

"Hey hey, isn't Karasuno's four-eyes checking to his phone every minute?", Kindaichi remarked after drinking water.

"You're right. He's been like that ever since he arrived here. Now that you said it, this is the first time I've seen him smile like that", Goshiki narrowed his eyes while also looking on Tsukishima.

"Don't you think?"

"I'm thinking what you're thinking"

Goshiki and Kindaichi looked at each other and released a grim jealous expression towards Tsukishima.

He has a girlfriend

"That annoying blocker..."

"..has a girlfriend..."

Kindaichi and Goshiki clenched their fists feeling single as heck when all of a sudden Kogane who heard this didn't hesitate to approach and congratulate Tsukishima not knowing that he's currently using his phone.

"Hey! Tsukki! You got a girlfriend? Congrats!!",

Kogane suddenly grabbed Tsukishima's arms to handshake it making the tall blonde accidentally drop his phone on the floor.

Tsukishima's eyes widen as he heard a crack while Kogane froze at where he's standing.

"Ah, yabai", Kogane could only say as he saw Tsukishima immediately crouching down to check on his phone if its working.

When it turned on, Tsukishima sighed in relief.

Kogane gulped as Tsukishima started to stand up.

"Koganegawa, I appreciate the effort to congratulate me but please don't suddenly grab my arms while I'm in the middle of texting"

Even when Tsukishima is not turning around, Kogane could feel the rage starting to arise at the always calm blocker making him nod repeatedly.

"Yes yes! So sorry about that Tsukki!", Kogane tightly closed his eyes while pressing his hands together in apology.

"And also please don't call me Tsukki", Tsukishima said before walking away from him.

"Okay! Okay! Got it!"

Tsukishima didn't care about the apology as all he care about is his phone which is the only
tool to communicate still on Hinata.

Tsukishima pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.

I want to see him so bad

Suddenly, he heard a notification sound on his phone and it was Hinata who updated him that 2nd set was about to start on their side.

Tsukishima replied a simple 'Goodluck' before swiping the notification away to see now a crack on Hinata's smiling face which is his lockscreen picture.
