History

Teddy was born in Portland, Oregon as an only child to two eerily rich parents. When he was 3, they moved from Oregon to New York City where he dad had gotten a new job as a doctor. His parents befriended the Whitly's and he became childhood friends with Malcolm and Ainsley. Growing up, Teddy's own dad was really strict and authoritarian and kind of messed his kid up, throwing him in a cabinet or a wardrobe and locking the doors if he did something bad, using religion to hurt him as well. As a result he became very close with his  mom and specifically the Whitly's who had the common decency not to yknow, abuse a child for accidentally knocking over a vase. One night, when he was about 8 or 9 his mother was out of town and his dad went crazy at him, throwing glass and it was a big ol' mess, and Teddy ran over to the Whitly's at like 11 at night. Martin opened the door to a crying child and calmed him down, getting him in out of the cold. There was an attempt to make him the 24th victim after Martin chloroformed the poor bastard that same night, but Ainsley came downstairs before Martin had a chance to sneak the kid away. He abandoned the attempt and told everyone Teddy had been brought over by his dad last minute because he needed to go do something at the hospital. The kid didn't remember the incident the following day and Malcolm called the cops on his dad a few weeks later.
