Izzie was off of work today, and Dustin had asked her to give him a ride to the mall. He had just gotten home from camp, and he was excited to see Steve.

"So, how was camp?" Izzie asked as she parked her car at Starcourt Mall.

"It was good. Me and my girlfriend Suz-"

"Girlfriend?!" The girl interrupted as she stepped out of the car. "You have a girlfriend?!"

"Yes. Is that shocking to you?" Dustin replied, slightly offended.

The blonde shook her head."No, no. It's just, I guess I missed a lot." It was totally shocking.

"Yeah. Her name is Suzie, and she's super smart, and super hot." The younger boy bragged.

"Nice." Izzie nodded while going through the large doors and entering the mall. "Steve is going to be proud."

"I know right?!" Dustin smiled proudly. Izzie loved how much Dustin looked up to Steve, it made her happy to see the relationship they had and how happy it made Steve to have a brother like figure.

"Hi." Dustin said to Robin as he walked up to the counter.

"Hi?" Robin replied.

"I'm Dustin." The boy said.

"I'm Robin." She mimicked as Izzie slightly snickered at the encounter.

"Pleasure to meet you, uh is he here?"

"Is who here?" Robin asked, slightly confused.

Suddenly, Steve busted through the door of the break room with a look of joy on his face. "Henderson!" Dustin laughed loudly as Steve jumped up and down like a little kid. "Henderson! He's back! He's back!"

"I'm back! You got the job!" The younger boy said, gesturing to Scoops Ahoy.

"I got the job!" Steve replied cheerfully, mimicking a trumpet in celebration. The two boys laughed and smiled as they did their handshake, Izzie remembered watching them for hours trying to perfect it.

"How many children are you two friends with?" Robin asked, slightly concerned. Izzie and Steve shared an embarrassed look, realizing that most of their friends were in fact children.

"Hey babe." Steve said, trying to move past the subject. He walked over to her, planting a soft hello kiss on her forehead. "You two should go sit, I'll get him some ice cream and we'll catch up. Sound good?"

"Yes sounds great." Dustin grinned. He and Izzie walked over to an empty table and sat down, waiting for Steve to return with the ice cream. "So. When do you leave?"

Izzie slightly lowered her head. She didn't like to talk about leaving. She felt that everyone would be mad for leaving them all behind. And no part of her wanted to leave Steve. "Uhm, end of August." She answered.

"I guess we better make these two months count." Dustin said. Izzie only nodded.

Steve approached, breaking the growing silence. "Alright I brought your favorite!" Dustin smiled as Steve set down the large bowl on the table and handed him a spoon.

"So, Steve." Izzie said as he settled his arm around her. "Did you know that Dustin has a girlfriend now?"

"No way!" Steve smiled. "Is she for real?!" He asked Dustin.

The younger boy nodded proudly. "Her name is Suzie, and she is hotter than Phoebe Kates."

"No, no. No way. Hotter than Phoebe Kates?" Steve asked skeptically.

Dustin nodded. "Brilliant too. And she doesn't even care that my real pearls are still coming in. She says kissing is better without teeth."

With that, the couple's look of pride shifted to confusion. "Wow. That's great. Proud of you man. That's, that's kinda romantic. That's like, wow. Isn't that great love?"

Izzie's eyes widened as Steve tried to pass off the weight of the conversation to her. "Yeah, Dust that's really great." She nodded.

"So do you really get to eat as much ice cream as you want?" Dustin asked.

"Yeah." Steve nodded. "But ya know it's not really a great idea for me to eat it. Cause I've got to stay in shape for the ladies."

"You mean lady?" Robin corrected from across the store.

"Thank you Rob!" Izzie said back.

"Yeah, sorry, right, lady. Just one." Steve apologized.

"She's cool." Dustin said between spoonfuls of ice cream.

Steve shook his head. "She's not."

"She is." Izzie said. "So, where are the other knuckleheads."

"They left me yesterday." Dustin answered.

"No." Steve said in shock.

"First day back. can you believe that shit?" Dustin scorned.

"Woah. Seriously?" Izzie asked.

"Swear." The younger boy said. "They're gonna regret it though. Big time. When they don't get to share in my glory."

"Glory?" The older boy questioned. "What glory?"

"So last night, I was trying to get in contact with Suzie."

"Oh, mmhm." Steve smirked.

Dustin's shifted in his seat and slightly covered his mouth, leaning closer to the couple "And, uh iinterceptedasecretrussiancommunication."

"I'm sorry what?" Izzie replied, not hearing the boy.

"Iinterceptedasecretrussiancommunication." The boy repeated.

"Can you just speak louder?" Steve said.

"I intercepted a secret russian communication!" The younger boy said loudly.

All eyes around them shifted to looked at them. "Ok, geez. Shh." Izzie shushed.

"Yeah that's what I thought you said." Steve nodded. "Wait, what does that mean?"

"It means Dustin is full of shit." Izzie scoffed, not believing his story.

"No, It's means we could be heroes. True American heroes." Dustin corrected.

"Ahh." Steve nodded. "American heroes?"

"Just think. We could have everything we want, and more." Dustin persuaded.

"More?" The older boy smiled.

"More." He nodded.

"I like more." Steve said. "Don't you want more?" He said, turning to Izzie.

"Do you know for sure it's real?" Izzie asked the boy, ignoring Steve's naive assumptions.

"I mean, they are speaking Russian and talking through a big secret radio." Dustin answered. "Come on Izz, American heroes!"

"What's the catch?" She said.

"No catch. I just need your help. " The brunette boy reached into his bag, pulling out a small red book. "Translation."
