Ophelia spent the next weeks on a chaos, booze, and 'anything that'll numb it, bender'. None of her friends could stop her, her father, Joaquin, set her off with his prying for answers. No one alive knew it all, no one but Ophelia, as she drowned her soul within its own misery.
"Ophelia, I need you to wake up baby, Ophelia!" Sebastian yelled at her as she was sprawled across the couch, covered in vomit. She wasn't responding until he put his hands on her face and yelled, "Prinţesă!"
Her eyes snapped open to meet the man she loves, distraught and broken in front of her drunken gaze. Her eyes were glassy, her skin was pale and she had lost weight.
"Sebastian Sadie Stan, are you okay?" She rubbed her eyes and sat up on her elbow.
"No, Ophelia, I'm not. I'm watching you kill yourself. I love you and you're spiraling and I don't know how to help." He began to show his anxiety to her, she watched him start to unravel.
She stood up and held her hand out, he looked up at her confused as he grabbed it. She walked them into the bathroom and she took off the dress that covered her and tossed it into the bin, bending to turn on the water and fill the tub.
The pair sat in the hot water together and melted into one another, feeling the deep love and connection they both needed through the pain filled weeks they survived. Ophelia looked at him and let out a breathy sigh, "Seb, I love you." She shifted her body so her back was against his chest.
"Ophelia, ești luna și stelele mele" (you're my moon and stars). She smiled up at him and kissed him before letting herself relax into the small fingertip touches he was leaving along her arms and chest.
"I'm going to get through this Bubba. I just need to work through it my own way." He hummed, "I know baby girl, and I'm here when you're ready...just don't go dying on me."
"Deal," she grabbed his hand and kissed it as she closed her eyes, feeling peace for the first time in weeks.
