Chapter 92: Examination

George POV

I leave the others outside the room as I walk inside with Ranboo.

The doctor spoke casually, trying to make the environment more comfortable for him but in all honesty it wasn't helping.

"Could we just get the check up done?" I ask and he nods before passing him something to change into.

"Since it's your first checkup we need to do a full check"

The room falls silent.

"It's alright Ranboo, just change behind that curtain" I say as I lead him behind it, pulling the curtain around him and standing on the other side.

Once he's changed he walks out, his hands shaking in front of his dangly body.

"Take a seat" He asks, patting the chair.

Dream POV

Tommy had left with Tubbo to their appointment as I sat outside their rooms with Phil.

"How's George been?" He asks.

"He's been good, you know how George can be" I faintly smile at him.

"Yeah I know he can be complicated, I bet it's nice for you guys to all hang out again"

"Yeah it is, how's Tubbo and Ranboo been doing at yours?" I ask.

"Tubbo has really come out of his shell, he's got such a good personality, I'm still getting to know Ranboo but he's definitely more nervous"

"Sorry if I sound too forward but aren't you going to adopt them?"

"Yeah I plan to, Kristen and I are actually converting my office into another bedroom so it'll be a suitable home, if everything goes smoothly I should have them adopted within the next 2 weeks"

"I know that must mean a lot to George so thank you" I smile at him.

"They're great kids, they deserve to have a chance at happiness and so does George" He explains.

"I hope George is happy" I add, earning a confused look from Phil.

"Don't you spend the most time with him? Surely you'd know if he's happy or not"

"George is always complicated, he still seems too okay but I don't know"

"We're back! Is Ranboo not done yet?" Tubbo smiles, taking a seat by Phil as Tommy stands.

"They should be out soon mate" Phil smiles back.

"Once Ranboo is out can we go out and do something?" Tommy asks.

"Why don't I drop you boys off at a park or something?" He offers and their eyes light up.

"Yes!"

"I take it the check up went well then?" Phil adds and Tubbo nods.

"Yeah my health is still all good and the only injury I have is on my elbow from when I climbed a tree with Tommy"

Phil rolls his eyes and we hear a door open near us.

We turn our heads as Ranboo walks out.

"George is inside, he told me to get you" He faintly smiles at me and I stand up.

"You guys have fun" I say as I wave, walking into the room and closing the door behind me.

"George is just changing, even though this is his second checkup his first one wasn't thorough since he was in a delicate state" The doctor informs me.
