Link POV:
I woke up at around 6 am, noticing that Dark was absent from his bed.
'That's odd...'
I got up and walked around, searching for him. I found him in our small living room, on his phone.
"Good morning, Dark." I said. He had his headphones in, so I assumed he couldn't hear me, rather than him ignoring me.
I walked past him, and he looked up from his phone and waved. I returned the wave and sat down next to him.
"What are you up to?" I ask. He gives me a concerned look.
"So remember that virus that was going around in one of the other kingdoms?" I nod. "Well, Hyrule, along with the rest of the world now has it. So Hyrule is locking down and we can't go anywhere that's non-essential."
I looked at him, shocked. "What's considered essential?"
"Groceries, Hospital, Front-Line jobs... All schools are closed, too. That means you can't preform anymore. We also need to wear masks in other buildings."
"We should stock up on essentials. Maybe get a lot a toilet paper."
That was the start of the end...
