Today is Saturday, the day of the party. I decided to go yesterday when mi meet up with Kerri at a restaurant. She was telling me about her new boo Dontae. He's the host.
Its currently 12:40 and I have a nail appointment at 1 and I'm still not dressed.

I finally chose an outfit, nothing too flashy. Jus wah simple cheetah print dress and my hair in its natural state because I'm also getting it done.

When mi done get dressed I grabbed my purse checking if I have all I needed. I walked out of my room and into the living room where both my parents sat.
"Mummy an daddy mi a leave out now enuh" I said
"Alright e key deh pon e kitchen table" my father said
"Ok later, love you guys"
"Love you too drive safe" they both said then continued to watch the tv. I walked into the kitchen grabbed the key and left. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 1:10pm.
Better late than never.
I came up to a stop light while my mind drifted off to my childhood bestfriend. When mummy used to call me when I was overseas I asked her about him every chance I got. Turns out him an him family move when him a did 14. Mi not even know where.

The sound of car horns snapped me out of my day dream. I looked up and saw that the light was now green so I sped off to my destination.
Daydream too much.

Its now 3:10 an mi nails dem finally done. I walked over to the car, got in, hooked my phone on the Bluetooth then called Kerri.
When the call connected I heard talking in the background before mi hear her
"Wahm goods" she says
"Nothing mi jus done do mi nails. I'm on my way to get my hair done. Should be done by 5 and then mi probably reach home after 6 cause mi go stop a KFC mi nuh eat none since forever." I said sighing just thinking about the chicken.
"Lol frl mi a come pick u up round 9:30, mi deh someweh right now suh if ya hear noise a das y" she said in a rush.
"Alr mi go text u later then" I said
"Ok love you"
"Love you" I said then disconnected the call. I've been driving for a while and its now 3:30pm. Mi decide fi stop a Starbucks before mi guh a the hair appointment which is at 4. ...........................
