Your POV

"This is so exciting! Today will be a great day! The sun is shining, it is warm and there is no cloud in sight! The perfect timing to go out and read a book, right Kento?"

I turned around to look at my husband who sat in a chair and was already deeply focused on a book. He just made a 'mhm' sound without looking up, which was the sign for me to go and pack our things for a picnic and reading date near the river.

The river was a few metres away from our house and it had a gorgeous view.

Green grass, flowers and the clear and refreshing water from the river were really mesmerized especially at night. Maybe that was why Nanami decided to propose there...

After an hour a basket with food and something to drink was ready and in the foyer beside the picnic blanket.

"Honey! Come on!"

I ran back to Kento who still sat in the chair, but this time however he closed the book and stood up while taking a few other books out of the big bookshelf.

"Okay, I am coming darling."

A light smile played on his lips as he kissed my forehead and took the basket.

With a wide smile I followed him with the blanket in my arms outside.

"How is the book you are currently reading, Kento?"

"It is really interesting and it is indeed inspiring...It did surprise me that the protagonist chose love over friendship, because it seemed like the person is more the type who worships friends over love. I really didn't expect that, but-"

The blonde man continued to talk about his book without realizing that I stared at him like a creep. He probably noticed that but he went on and on while I was fascinated how somebody can look so beautiful that it is heartbreaking.

The sun played in his blonde hair and lightened up his brown eyes. His unique face features made him look even younger and hotter. The fact that the outline of his six-pack was seen through the thin fabric of his T-shirt underlined his hotness even more.

Man he is so handsome...

"My love, if you stare then at least close your mouth when you do it," and with a smirk he closed my mouth before ruffling my hair.

I think I don't need to mention that I grew red like a tomato, but to my luck we arrived at the river and started to unpack all the things when the blanket lay on the grass.

"Why are you so flustered, darling?" He tilted his head as he took a strawberry and ate it innocently. It made me laugh and with a 'The innocent look doesn't really suits you my dear Kento' I grabbed a book and started reading it.

The sorcerer chuckled while standing up with a book in his hand.

I didn't bother to look up until he seated himself behind me and started reading while my back was leaned against his muscular chest.

If it is comfortable for him, okay...

After hours of reading, eating and enjoying the sun we decided to go home because it was already past sunset.

"I can't believe that you read a book with over 500 pages in a few hours..."

"Well, I am a very fast reader my love. That's the whole secret." Nanami shrugged his shoulders when his gaze suddenly focused on me and was quite curious.

"What-"

"Why did your ears grew red when you were at a certain chapter? Was there perhaps...something spicy to read?"

Oh no...he noticed.

"Eh-"

"Perhaps you want to demonstrate it for me in our bedroom later? Because I," he whispered in my ear "- am pretty sure that you already imagined how I rail you when you read the 'special' part, didn't you honey?"

He leaned back and with a wink he left a speechless and flustered me back.

"I don't know what is so inspirational about the book he reads but man do I like the flirty side of him," and with that I took after him with a certain feeling called being 'turned on / horny'.
