Your PoV
It was a good day until my girlfriend came around the corner in my apartment. I didn't even know why I dated this girl because she became so fake. Our relationship slowly got toxic and I really felt the need to end this weird thing. It was not good for me and so I followed the recommendations from my friends and decided to break up with her. Now.
"It's not me, it's you."
"What?"
"You heard right. It's not me, it's You. If you would have been less toxic then it would clearly have been my fault but you know. I think that you are the cause of all the problems as well as the evilness inside me and every time I look at you, I feel....sick and have the need to vomit. So in my point of view, its you."
"Me?"
"Yeah, and in addition it seems that all the toxins have made your brain evaporate."
"Are you serious? Are you really breaking up with me?!"
"That was the point of this conversation...Glad you got that by now. You know what they say, 'better late than never'."
"You little-"
"Ah ah ah! Don't you think about insulting me. That would prove my point. Oh god its late! I need to go but maybe we can chat another time? This time I put the Ex in next. Have a nice day!"
I turned around to leave the flat and made my way to my favorite café. Nobara, Yuji, Megumi and me wanted to meet up later and decided to visit this little café since it was my favorite one.
Unfortunately I was way too early bit I luckily had brought my laptop with me which gave me the opportunity to work a bit until my friends would arrive.
After almost 2 hours, Yuji came around the corner and sat down beside me.
"Hey Y/n! You are already working hard. Is there anything due to tomorrow?"
Little sweat drops formed on his forehead and made me hold back my laughter.
"No, but I broke up with my girlfriend. Finally and since she slept over, I hope she will be away by later. Without touching anything in my apartment bit like I know her, I'll need to go shopping for new furniture."
I shrugged my shoulders and ordered another drink as Megumi sat down.
"I'll help you with your new things. I have a coffee, thanks."
"Me too!"
Nobara rushed through the small café and let herself fall down on the other chair beside me.
"Hey, there. Why do you carry so many bags?" Around her where at least 20 bags full with new stuff.
"She has an addiction. She needs to bit everything." Out poor teacher came to our table with more bags in his hand.
"Oh god."
"Yeah, and most of the stuff is already in her room. Poor me, needed to transport it all the way to her room only to carry more bags." He dramatically sobbed as he took the rest of the bags and went out again. Nobara leaned back and rolled her eyes.
"He is just dramatic. These are all Christmas gifts! I can't start too soon!" We just have November, but anyways.
Her brown eyes looked at me in a calm and happy manner until she squinted them.
"Did I missed something? You look far more relaxed since I saw you the last time." Nobara stared at me in curiosity when I shrugged with my shoulders.
"I finally broke up with my girlfriend. That was long overdue."
A waitress came and brought our drinks as Kugisaki stared with surprise written all over her face. She was mainly the one who gave me the advice to break up with the girl, but I rejected it many many times. Why? I don't know.
She eyed Megumi and Yuji if it was a joke but they just looked at her in seriousness.
"No way! Finally!"
Nobara jumped in surprise and hugged me with a big smile.
"It was really necessary you know? And besides that, you don't need to waste your money on gifts for her! Isn't that cool?!"
She laughed and in her enthusiasm she didn't care that everybody in the small café was starring at her in annoyance.
Her mood was really refreshing which was probably why I also started to laugh with her.
We all talked about various things and after many hours when it was already dark due to the winter months, we left the café.
"Guys, it was one of the best days with you. I think I didn't have as much fun as today in a long time."
Yuji hugged everyone and waved a goodbye as he made his way to his home.
His laughter was still ringing in my ears when Megumi also bid a goodbye.
The Fushiguro even smiled which showed how content he was today and how much he really liked it. Even though he did not speak a lot, he was relaxed and let his smile replace his words.
Sometimes he is really a man that shows his love with actions and smiles in place of words or phrases.
When our friends were already out of sight Nobara closed her jacket to protect herself from the cold.
Right as she closed it, it started to snow. The small white sparkles landed on her hair, her clothes and even on her lashes. Her cheeks transformed into a rosy tone as her face lit up due to the snow. She gazed at me in pure happiness and grabbed my arm.
"You know, I am pretty happy that you finally broke up with her. That random girl was honestly not good for you." I nodded in agreement.
"Well then, I will also head home now. It was nice to spend such a good time with you. See you!" Nobara flashed me a last smile before she turned around and did as she said.
"Nobara, wait!"
I unwrapped my scarf and wrapped it around her neck instead. Her cheeks became even redder and her mouth opened slightly in disbelief. She was really beautiful in this moment and so I showed her my best smile.
"Now you can head home. Please take care of yourself and send me a message when you get home, ok? Bye!" I waved a last time at her and went to my apartment.
"I will!" And not even a minute later I heard her talking to someone on the phone.
"Hey, I need to tell you something! You won't guess what happened!" With a big smile, I disappeared behind a corner.
When I got home my apartment was empty and when I say empty I mean empty. My whole furniture had disappeared. Well, almost my whole furniture.
My bed and the things in the kitchen where still there but there was no sign of my TV or various other things. Even that couldn't ruin my day anymore.
"Well, at least I can buy better and nicer things now."
With a whole hearted laugh I planted myself on my bed and started to look for new things.
I didn't know that taking relaxing and starting healthy habits could be that easy...
