Recently saw a story with over 159 parts and on seeing it I knew each chapter was two sentences long

Why? You're just giving your reader more ads

In the same way, don't write a 10,000 word story because probably (if most of it happens in the same event) more than half of it will be filler and it'll feel like the author is trying to get you to keep reading it until you finally get to the point

I wrote a 3000 word oneshot once (now deleted and I'm honestly kinda sad about it, I spent like an hour on that shit and almost liked it), and the way I made it so it didn't seem to be prolonging the story to the point, chopped the story progression into several days

Is that to say I could've put it into three parts? Yes, but this is a oneshot book. I'm not gonna say (the book I was writing for was not unO), for example: Jera 1-1, Jera 1-2, Jera 1-3, and then move on to a different chapter like arlaine 1

There just does not seem to be a good point to this
