The Proposal

Blake's POV

She is trying to avoid me. But I won't let her do that for too long. She'll be by my side soon. I know what I did shocked her, even I was shocked. It was as if I lost control over myself. I have to make it right and keep myself in control next time.

We were on our way to the beach. All in one car. We were confused about how to travel. We didn't want to travel separately. But then, like always, Samaira had a solution ready.

"Why are you guys thinking so much? Did you guys forget I love having a collection of cars? We can use my range rover", she stated.

"Who's driving?", Ivaan questioned.

"Me", Samaira responded.

"Alright, let's leave already", Siara sighed.

All of us went to the parking lot and got inside the car. Ivaan sat with Samaira in the front, Siara and I sat in the second row, and Brien and Laura settled in the last row.

"So Brien?", Ivaan initiated.

"Yes?", Brien scrutinized Ivaan.

"Do you have a girlfriend?", Ivaan asked and I chuckled.

"IV!", the girls exclaimed.

"Don't mind him", I told Brien and he smiled.

"Nah, it's alright. I don't have a girlfriend, Ivaan", he said.

"Be free with us, Brien. You don't have to be timid with us", Samaira said.

"Sure", Brien told her.

"We're here!", she exclaimed.

She parked the car and all of us got out and began walking towards the beach. There were paparazzi here. I guess waiting for famous personalities to show up. And they got us. There were three of us here. Actually four. Laura wasn't as famous as us, but she wasn't unrecognized either.

"My guards will handle them. Let's just get through them. Siara stays with Blake and Iv comes with me", Samaira instructed.

We got through the paparazzi and entered the beach. Samaira leads us to an empty spot.

"I thought, we could have a small part of the beach to ourselves. Is that alright?", Samaira asked.

"Of course", Siara replies, and the rest nod.

"Brien?", Samaira calls out.

"Yes?", Brien questions.

"Let's go and grab drinks", she says and I frown.

"Okay", Brien said and smiled.

I was wondering why was she taking him along. But then before they left, she whispered something to Laura. After they were out of sight, four people came out of nowhere and began to decorate the place.

"She wants me to do it now", Laura spoke. That is when I understood why she took Brien along. She wanted to give these people time to decorate the place and time to Laura so that she is ready.

Those people make a large heart with rose petals and place candles around it. It looks beautiful. Even the sun is setting, which makes it look more magnificent.

Samaira's POV

I am so excited and anxious at the same time. Excited about the proposal and anxious about Brien's answer. Even though I noticed the way he looks at Laura. His gaze was full of love.

I excuse myself and phone Ivaan. I tell him to come over as I have planned to blindfold Brien and take him to the spot. He arrives in 5 mins.

"Hey Brien?", I call out to him. He was taking our drinks from the shop.

"Yes?", he looks at me questioningly.

"We have a surprise for you, so we are going to blindfold you", I notify him and he looks baffled.

"Surprise? For me? Why?", he inquires.

"We welcome new people by giving them surprises", I lie.

"Oh", he murmurs and I nod.

Ivaan blindfolds him, I grab the drinks and we guide him to the spot. When we reach there, I am satisfied with the decoration.

I give the drinks to Siara and lead Brien to the middle of the heart. Laura comes and kneels in front of him. She holds out a rose. I ask her if she's ready, she nods.

" I am gonna remove the blindfold now", I inform Brien.

"Okay", he says.

I remove the blindfold and step out of the heart. I fetch out my phone and start recording. Even though I have hired people for taking pictures and videos.

Brien looks at Laura and his jaw drops. Laura gives him a shy smile.

"L-laura", Brien began but could not persist.

"I have wanted to do this since forever. But I was scared, I still am. But I ain't backing out now. You are an angel. Your lame jokes, your stupid funny faces, your hard work, and everything else that you do have made me fall in love with you. The way you care for me, the way you are always there for me, checking up on me and supporting me. You are always by my side no matter what I do. I never imagined that I could find a person like you. But now that I did, I won't lose this opportunity, I love you, Brien Watson. Will you be my boyfriend?", Laura expresses and a single tear falls from Brien's eyes.

"Fuck, yes!", Brien screams and picks Laura up. He spins her around and then kisses her. Aww, so pure. Both of them are shedding happy tears.

I didn't notice that I was crying too until Blake came up to me and gave me a tissue. I take it and wipe my tears.

"I have always loved you, Laura. I was scared that if I propose to you, it would ruin our friendship and I'd lose you forever. I fucking love you, Laura D'cruz ", Blake confessed.

After that, I stopped recording. They were hugging each other so tightly like if they don't do it now, they'll never be able to. But that wasn't true. They'll have a beautiful future. I am sure about it.

"I am sorry for everything I've done in the past. I really am sorry, Samaira", Blake whispers. I didn't notice that he was still standing beside me.

I look up at him to find some odd emotions in his eyes. This is the same emotion I have seen every time we are close to each other.

"Why are you apologizing now? It's of no use, Blake. Broken glass cannot be joined again", I state. He looks hurt by what I said.

"Give me a chance. A chance to explain. At least one proper talk. Please?", he requests. His eyes are begging me to say yes. I sigh.

"Fine", I say and he beams.

Then I stride towards Laura and Brien. I hug Laura and then Brien.

"I am so fucking happy for you guys", I express.

"Brien?", Laura calls out to him.

"Yes?", he looks at her and so do I.

"Samaira gave me the courage to propose to you. And I want you two to be best friends. Because Samaira is my best friend and sister", she tells him, and Brien and I smile. We high-five each other.

"Consider it done", Brien tells her and she grins.

"Ivaan? Siara? Come here already", Laura calls those two.

"Even you Blake", and then she looks at Blake.

All three of them come closer. Siara hugs Laura whilst Ivaan hugs Brien. and the Ivaan hugs Laura. After them, Blake hugs Laura and Brien.

"Congratulations guys", all three of them say.

"So freaking happy for you guys", Siara says.

"Now that's called a good start, isn't it?", I say, smiling.

"YES!", the girls scream
