~Two months later~

"Hey, there's no need to be nervous, they're going to love you," Christian reassures me.

"I know," I say as we walk in.

"You must be Logan, it's so nice to meet you," Christian's mom says giving me a hug.

"It's nice to meet you too," His sister steps forward with a little wave.

"Hi, I'm Ruby,"

"It's nice to meet you, Ruby," I say with a smile.

"Why don't we go have dinner," His mom says. We all nod and follow her into the dining room. Christian squeezes my hand in reassurance as we take our seats. "So Logan, when did you and Christian meet?"

"Oh, that's kind of a funny story actually. I broke up a fight and let's just say he was less than happy about it, but if I knew the reasoning I would have let him continue,"

"Wait you're the one who stopped him from beating up Jack?" Ruby asks.

"Yeah, not my best work,"

"No, I think you're badass for standing up to Chris, he can be pretty intimidating," I smile at the nickname.

"Thank you, honestly when I saw him fighting him all I could think was 'what kind of person starts a fight the first day of school?' But as you can tell I warmed up to him." Christian smiles and squeezes my hand.

"Well, Logan it was nice having you,"

"Thank you, dinner was amazing," I smile as we exit. "Your mom is amazing, so is Ruby,"

"I'm glad you like them, they've been looking forward to meeting you ever since I told them I was seeing someone," He says.

"You know if you had told me six months ago that this is where my life would be I think you were lying," I say as we walk down the sidewalk.

"Why?"

"Because it all would seem too good to be true, I mean so many terrible things have happened to me in the past year and a half and somehow I've been able to keep moving forward. Back in California, I didn't think I was going to survive the rest of my junior year and now here I am more than halfway through my senior year in a relationship again with a group of friends who love and care for me. I couldn't have asked to have a better life even with everything that has happened, even though I have been given so many reasons to hate the world and life you guys have given me so many more reasons to love life, so thank you for being you and for always being there for me,"

"You're welcome, and for what it's worth you are also one of the best things in my life. And I've waited a while to tell you this, to be honest, I've kind of been afraid to. I love you, Logan, I think I have since you stopped me from sucker punching Jack," I laugh a little. "You have always been this strong unmoveable force since I've met you even when life dealt you the toughest blows, you've always been you. You've always cared about others and helped strangers when they didn't deserve it. You put your faith in a system that had failed you once before because you knew it was the right thing to do, and I love you for it."I can feel tears welling in my eyes as he finishes speaking.

"I love you too," I say wrapping my arms around his neck and hugging him tightly. He wraps his arms around my waist just as tightly. "I love you,"

"I love you so much," He says leaning in to kiss me. The kiss is filled with passion and heat as his lips explore mine. He holds me tightly against his body as his tongue gains entry. I hold back a groan as his kisses begin to trail down my neck.

"Wait, we can't just make out in your driveway,"

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" He asks suggestively.

"Maybe I do,"

I'm sorry that this chapter is so short but I'm having a bit of writer's block. I have decided that the next chapter will be the final one of this story. I will release a few extras after the final chapter is released but they will not go with the main storyline. XO my lovely readers.
