Stefan was shocked to see Cassie standing in his driveway but even more concerned at the fact there was blood smeared across her face and tears streaming down her face.

"Cassie." He walked quickly over to her. She stared at him in horror. "I'm so sorry." She whispered, her voice slightly cracked. Stefan was confused on why she was saying sorry. She fell the the ground sobbing.

"I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." She cried covering her face with her hands. "Cassie. I need you to tell me what's wrong." Stefan said softly , kneeling down so he could look at her.

He took her hands in his and slowly removed them from her blood stained face. "I didn't mean to do it." She stared down at her hands in Stefan's. "Cassie Please tell me what happened. I can try fix it." Stefan tried to calm her.

"I killed someone."

"I don't understand any of this, why can't I just go home." Vicki gave out as she lay down on the couch. "Because you're changing Vicki and that's not something you want to do alone."Stefan said not looking at Vicki.

"There is nothing about that Logan guy i killed or the girl Cassie killed in here . Not a word." Damon told them as he flicked through the daily news paper. Cassie sat in the corner of the room curled up in a ball. The second Damon said that sentence she felt as if she was going to burst into tears again.

"Someone's covering it up." Damon sighed tapping on something in his hand making a clicking noise . "What is that?" Vicki asked turning around to face him.

"This is a very special, very old compass." Damon told her." What was Logan Fell doing with it? Aren't you curious?" He asked Stefan. "If you're so worried someone's on to you, you can just leave town." Stefan suggested getting annoyed with Damon.

"We should all be worried." He pointed out. "What will they do?" Cassie suddenly spoke making all three vampires look at her. "Well I'll be safe and gone before they can catch me and you , you're gonna die sweetheart." Damon said chuckling. Stefan glared at him before saying,"Cassandra, I promise you will be fine."

"I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat." Vicki sighed dramatically. Stefan got up and walked over to the table picking up a cup. "Here ." He handed it to Vicki. She stared into it and made a face. "What is it?" She said. "It's what you're craving." Stefan told her sitting back down.

"Don't lie to the girl. It's not what you're craving but it'll do in a pinch." Damon scoffed . "What is it?" Vicki snapped. "Yeah what is it? Is it skunk, St Bernard, Bambi?" Damon said.

Vicki was getting inpatient and took a sip. "She's new. She needs people blood. She can't sustain on that." Damon argued. "Yeah, why can't I have people blood?" Vicki agreed.

"Because it's wrong to pray on innocent people." Stefan told her. Cassie bit her lip to hold back the tears forming in her eyes. "You don't have to kill to feed." Damon reminded him. "Find someone tasty and erase their memories after. It's so easy." Damon said smirking as Vicki giggled. "No, there is no guarantee that you can control yourself. It takes years to learn that you could kill somebody. You have to carry that with you for the rest of your life , which I haven't made clear is eternity." He snapped at both of them. Cassie immediately felt worse. She'd always remember what she did to that girl.

"Dont listen to him. He walks on a moral plane way out of our eyeliner." Damon said. "I say snatch, eat, erase." Damon shrugged. "Like you did to Caroline." Cassie stood up from the corner deciding to stop her little pity party. "Ok, i ammo out of here." Damon ignored her quickly walking away.

"Yum." Vicki mumbled picking her finger when she finished the cup of blood."Can i have some more?" Vicki asked as soon as Damon left the room.

Cassie and Vicki sat upstairs in a room in silence. Stefan left the room a few minutes ago leaving them both alone. "Damon turned you, right?" Vicki guessed turning to Cassie. "Yeah, uh he turned me like two days ago." Cassie nodded. "It's so much better as a vampire." Vicki said.
