The street was quieter than he'd expected. It was lit by only a few streetlamps and shadowed by the light of the very moon. The scene would be considered beautiful by the mafioso if it wasn't because he knew, could feel, that he wasn't alone.

'How eerie..' He thought.

A few minutes had passed since the mission had kicked off. In fact, as soon as Minghao had given the orders, Jeonghan and Joshua hurried out the car and into the nearby alley way Seungcheol had earlier mentioned when going over the plans. After that they bid farewell and Jeonghan immediately began walking to the bar, of course, not before making sure his gun was in a reachable place and away from sight.

"Have you reached the building?" Minghao asked through the in-ear. "It may not look as expected, but it is made for criminal organizations. It was meant for it to look that way"

"No kidding.." Jeonghan groaned. 'How nostalogic' It had been a while since he'd last seen such a place. An establishment that screamed abandoned and yet was specifically made to hide away all the bad deed from the authorities.

"There must be someone on the outside, do you see them?"

"No.." He narrowed his eyes. "I'll go check on the other side"

As casually looking as he could, Jeonghan turned the corner and glanced all over the street. There was no sign of the bodyguard that was supposed to be at the entrance.

"What the fuck?" Jeonghan muttered. Where could a gorilla-like guard even hide?

"Not there?"

"Nope," He sighed. "I guess the guy probably went to take a shit or something"

"Where though?!" Minghao exclaimed. "And in a place like this? Aren't appointed underground guards supposed to keep watch at all times?"

"They are," Jeonghan frowned. "Which makes this whole situation the more shady"

After much thought, he sighed. "It'll be too troublesome to enter without a thumbs up, but at this point I'm willing to take the risk. From now on try not to make too much ruckus, I swear, sometimes you get irritated so quickly I can't concentrate at all"

"Hmp. If you need anything then don't come crying for my help"

"Don't worry, I won't"

With that, Jeonghan opened the door that led to the bar and widened his eyes. Instead of soft cabaret music and the sound of chatter, the mafioso was met with a dark hallway that led to another door, one that was underground and behind a set of stairs.

'So that's how it is, huh?' Jeonghan smirked.

He'd only visited underground bars once or twice, when certain visitors from other organizations wanted to talk about "private" matters. However, both occasions didn't end on good terms, in fact, the two ended with bloodshed and arguments as well as a few complaints from the bar's owner. As a result, you could say he was hesitant to enter. After all, an underground bar was a good place to cause conflict.

With a deep breath, Jeonghan fixed his hair and straightened his white button up. Then he went down the steps, one by one, until he'd reached the second door to the establishment.
