Babe is totes cute just saying (: ^^
• Hayes POV •
"She's getting overwhelmed, can everyone clam down." I hissed as I saw Kaye look around the room, not knowing what say or do. "Auntie Kaye!" Daniel yelled, jumping on her bed. "Daniel no." Sierra said picking him up from the bed.
(AN: My fave boy is back!!!)
"I-I need some air." Kaye said softly. "What's wrong with her? Does she not miss me?" Daniel frowned. "Kaye is just a little sick right now bud." I told him. "Auntie Kaye, I'll bring you ice cream to make you feel better." He told her. Kaye smiled and looked down at her fingers.
Everyone started asking her questions again and I could see she was getting more overwhelmed than before. Her eyes started to water and I told everyone to be quiet. "I can't answer those questions, I'm sorry." Kaye sighed. "Okay she needs rest, maybe we should give her some space." Cameron said.
We walked out and I looked at Kaye through the window. I watched as she placed her head in her hands and started to cry. I walked in there and closed the door. "Don't cry." I told her, walking over to her bed. "How can I not, I don't know any of those people and that little boy, I want to remember him but I can't." She cried.
I sat on her bed and took her hand. "I'm going to help you remember, I promise." I said. She looked up at me and I wiped her tears. "What are you to me?" She asked. "Um, I'm your close friend, really close." I said. I couldn't tell her that she was my girlfriend, she doesn't remember loving me.
"So you know everything about me?" She asked. "Every little thing." I smiled. "Who's that guy?" She asked, pointing. I turned my head and I saw Matthew look away. "Close friend." I told her, "Why?" I asked. "He's the only one who hasn't said a word, he just stares at me." She said. "There's Matthew for you." I chuckled a bit.
She groaned and moved around. "Are you okay?" I asked. "My head hurts." She said. "I'll get a nurse." I said. She nodded and I walked out. "What did you guys talk about?" Cameron asked. "She just asked if I knew everything about her and I told her yeah." I shrugged. We didn't talk much so there was nothing really to tell.
I got the nurse and we walked back in there. She gave her medicine and started telling me how many she takes a day and when she takes them. "Will you remember?" She asked me and I nodded my head. She left and Kaye started laughing.
"What?" I asked. "I have a feeling you're not going to remember." She laughed. "See, you're already starting to know me more. It was your job to remember things for me." I chuckled a bit. Her smile faded and she looked away. "Wait, I shouldn't have that." I said quickly realizing my mistake. "It's fine, it's not your fault I don't remember." She said. It was partially my fault, but she didn't need to know how she got here, not now anyways.
The door opened and I looked up to see Madison. "Can I talk to her?" She asked me. I nodded and left the room. "How is she coping?" Nash asked me. "She seems fine, she's sensitive." I said. "Makes sense, Kaye was really sensitive when she was younger." Cameron said. "Wow I would love to see sensitive Kaye, I just know snappy Kaye." Taylor joked.
We all looked at him and he stopped talking. "Do you think she'll get her memory back?" I asked Cameron. "I don't know, but I'm hoping it will." He sighed. I looked at Matthew who hasn't said one word. I stood beside him and watched as Madison and Kaye laughed.
"She's going to be okay." I told him. "She doesn't remember anything Hayes." He said, "She doesn't remember me." He said turning to face me. "She doesn't remember any of us Matthew." I said. He looked away and I walked away from him. It's not all about him, he's not the only one she doesn't remember.
