Like I mentioned the midterms will begin soon and due to Nagumo's changes it will be different than before. The academic superior student will get a high amount of private points if they score well enough. You will receive private points if you score above your OAA Rating or if you rank in the top 10 of your year.

Since that is the case they will increase the difficulty of the final questions. Considering the prizes it makes sense that they would increase the difficulty of the final questions so the difficulty of passing stays the same but the difficulty of a perfect score is lower.

Today was a Friday so I have the next two days for myself. I decided to meet up with the Ayanokoji Group on Saturday and on Sunday I arranged a meeting with a certain someone. It is important because I will need the information they gathered hopefully.

Class was about to begin, thus I made my way to school. On the way to the school I saw many gaze fell upon me. As a consequence of attracting attention in the last few weeks that was normal for me but today there were even more gazes than normally.

When I arrived at the classroom everyone started to stare at me. When I went to my seat I saw that there was a letter and there it just said that following thing: 'Don't overestimate yourself you Traitor'. I expected such a thing to happen to me but why now out of all times?

I just took a seat at my seat and after a while Horikita showed up. She looked very frustrated and it almost seems like she was panicking, thus I decided to ask her what was going on.

Ayanokoji: "You seem out of it. What's wrong?"

Horikita: "You don't know what happened?"

Ayanokoji: "Not the slightest idea."

Horikita then took out her phone and showed me what was on her screen. It looks like a conversation between me and Horikita got leaked. There was also a comment written it said: 'Ayanokoji was holding back the whole time! Here's the phone call with Horikita before the face off against Sakayanagi.'

Attached to the comment was a video where Horikita and I were in the classroom. I guess Tsukishiro must have found this footage. But I wasn't really sure what I said to her. She then started to play the footage.

Footage

Horikita: ["Today, I want you to forget about all the notes and pointers I've given you. Choose whichever five events you want, and then pick whoever you want to participate in them."]

Ayanokoji: ["If I take charge and mess up your plans, wouldn't the rest of the class be unable to adapt to it?"]

Horikita: ["I never told anyone which events I'd be choosing or which events they'd be participating in. I simply said that I'd be making those decisions pragmatically depending on the situation, so that shouldn't be a problem."]

Ayanokoji ["Don't blame me if something goes wrong."]

Horikita: ["This is a class competition. Even though the commanders are allowed to intervene, the exam basically boils down to the strength of our class as a whole. The opponent we'll be facing is Class A, led by Sakayanagi-san. The most formidable opponent in our school year. Even if you lose, it's not like anyone would blame you."]

Ayanokoji: ["I'll make the most of your efforts."]

Horikita: ["The odds of chess getting chosen are 7 out of 10. A 70% chance isn't exactly low. In the end, I hardly ever won against you, even with you going easy on me."]

Ayanokoji: ["Nobody is stronger than me, even when I'm going easy on them. Remember that."]

Horikita: ["You sure have a lot of confidence in yourself."]
