I don't say anything for the entire journey back to the house. Renzo didn't seem too bothered by the silent treatment though, making himself busy taking calls and typing on his phone.

What happened tonight scared me. The men and the guns, the way Renzo strolled in there completely unfazed by anything, the look on Giorgio's face. The fact that I finally realised where I've seen Renzo before.

The whole situation was terrifying.

He expects me to go with him to events if they're supposed to be like that?

Walking through the house way ahead of Renzo, I head straight to my room, making sure to lock the door behind me. Even though he has a key for the door, at least I can hear him unlocking it if he decides to.

Simon is stood by his bowl, eating the remainder of his food and I walk over to my closet, stripping out of my clothes and changing into a black silk nightdress.

I had no idea a year ago that Renzo was the man that he is. A leader of some sort of gang who think they have this authority to do what they want, when they want and how they want.

I never would've thought that the man who caught my attention and sparked curiosity that night, would be the person behind my kidnapping.

Sitting at the vanity table, I use some of the wipes to remove my makeup. The dark bags under my eyes are now starting to show, a clear message of the lack of sleep I've been getting.

How long am I supposed to be doing this for? How long can I do this for?

It's clear now that I'm probably not going to be able to leave until he says so, judging by the fact that there is literally no escape from this place. So what am I supposed to do, just wait until he's finished with me? Until he doesn't need me to take pictures anymore? Then what happens.. he lets me go, he kills me?

This entire situation is just one big question mark. Everything that happens from now on is purely Renzo's decision and I have no say in it whatsoever.

Walking over to the bed, I pull the covers back and sit down, crossing my legs. I don't know how many times I can overthink every single possible thing that could happen, but until I get some answers, I don't think I'm going to be able to rest.

The sound of keys jingling by the door causes my head to snap up and my eyes dart in the direction of the noise, instantly pulling the covers over myself in fear of whoever is trying to come in.

The lock clicks and the door begins to open, Renzo quickly appearing. Couldn't he just knock first?

He closes the door behind him and leans back against it, his dark brown eyes locking with mine. Nerves almost instantly consume my body, my pulse quickening at his intense stare.

I remain quiet, allowing him to be the first one to speak. If he chose to come in here, then he obviously has something to say to me.

He pushes off from the door and slowly begins to make his way over to the bed. I shift backward subconsciously, still gripping the covers tightly in my hand. Once he's at the foot of the bed, he leans against one of the posts, folding his arms over his broad chest.
