Chapter 10

Vee

It's Halloween, I got my cape on, my wand in hand and I wrap my yellow and red scarf around my neck. That's right! Team Gryffindor, Twan Team Slytherin and Shay team Ravenclaw.

Twan made us some butter beer, I don't know how he pulled that off but he did.

He decorated the whole house and everything.

This is making it even harder to break him the bad news, he has been trying so hard to make me smile, laugh or blush.

It's breaking my heart, he's a good man. I can tell he's truly trying to right his wrongs.  

Unfortunately, that's not happening.

Hey yall! Miss me?

I came to the party and it's lit everybody pretending to have wand battles and shit.

I peep how Vee and Shay keep staring at each other all lovingly and Twan over here looking confused as fuck. Whore house I tell ya...

"Ayo Neyelli, come here real quick." Twan comes up to me out of nowhere.

"Hey wassup?" I ask him, and he pulls out a small box trying to keep it on the low.

My eyes get big, he opens it and I see the most beautiful ring ever. I look up to him and he just a cheesing.

"You think Vee will like it? He ask me.

I start stuttering "y-y-yes! it's a beautiful ring". I'm thinking like oh shit it's about to go down!

I finally told Vee about Twan's cheating and she acted like she didn't give a damn. She said the girl could have his ass. I was like wow! I just sat back and wait for the drama to un fold.

Back to Vee

I just absolutely love Halloween, and this Harry Potter theme is hitting.

I'm running around making everybody taste the Butter Beer. I keep feeling Shay's eyes all over me and it's really distracting lol.

Twan comes up to me and takes my hand, and clears his throat trying to get everyone's attention.

Everyone eventually turns around staring at us and I'm looking at him like what the hell?

"Babe, We've been together for a while now, 2 years to be exact!" He gets down on one knee and everybody gasp.

Oh no.....I know he is not doing what I think he is doing I scream inside my head. No, no, no!

I look up and Shay standing there looking like she about to run up on Twan, she looks into my eyes and I give her a look like...Baby no, please!

She calms down and just stands there folding her arms.

I look back down to Twan and he's looking at me lovingly "I love you with all my heart, and nothing would make me more happier if you would become my wife! Will you marry me baby?" Everyone gasps again...

"I uh-I-I--" I stutter, I back up a little and break down in tears, covering my mouth with my hand. He stands up.

"Baby don't cry" He says gently. "Is that a yes?"

I stare into his eyes knowing I had to finally say the words I've been meaning to tell him for a while now, but not like this and in front of everybody? Shit!

I slowly shook my head no at him, he lets go of my hand and just asks me with a simple 'Why?" and then his face gets angry.

I'm standing there like aw shit.

I see Neyelli get up and come closer to us, I'm like thank goodness.

She whispers "Yall might want to finish this somewhere else, more privately?" She tries to suggest.

Twan wasn't having it he gets loud "Why Vee? Why are you telling me NO?" he says getting even more angrier.

People start looking around at each other, confused as to why I just turned down him down.

I finally said it.

"I cannot marry you Twan, because I'm in love with someone else" everyone gasp.

"What? Since when?...What the FUCK? WHO? YOU BETTER TELL ME RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!" He says angrily and I jump back because I've never seen him this angry before. 

"Yo Twan chill!" Neyelli interjects looking him up and down. "Because you got yo nerve" She continues, rolling her eyes.

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean" He spat at her, looking at her crazy.

He looks back at me and tries to come closer,  then all of a sudden I can feel someone come up behind me, taking my waist pulling me into them and that's when it clicked for Twan.

Everybody is looking at us like well damn!!

He stands there fuming, balling up his fists, watching Shay hold me the way he use to.

Then all of a sudden he charges at us but his friends Donte and Mike grab him.

"SO YOU A FUCKING DYKE NOW!!!?" his voice booms through the house, and people get scared and start to leave.

I'm looking at them like I am so sorry yall have to witness this, quietly mouthing sorry to people.

I roll my eyes "No Twan, I newly discovered I'm bisexual or maybe even lesbian" I confess and Neyelli stood there nodding her head like go head girl speak yo truth.

"Yo you fucking cheated on me and with a GIRL?! That's some fucking bullshit!" He says still livid.

"Be that as it may! You cheated on me first!" I say back getting angry because I am getting tired of his attitude like I'm the only one wrong here.

He looks shocked then busted and he finally calms down so Donte and Mike let him go. He drops to his knees and he legit starts crying.

"Baby I'm sorry that I cheated on you that was a mistake, I never meant to disrespect you, but you really gonna throw away 2 years just like that?" He ask me basically pleading.

"Yes Twan, when I asked you about that party what did you do? You fucking lied to my face and told me you wasn't there!" I say pissed off. "I even let that shit slide hoping you would confess one day and apologize, I probably would've forgiven yo ass too, but naw you just kept fucking that bitch didn't you?!!" I yelled at him.

He just sits there looking defeated....I know two wrongs don't make a right but in this case, sometimes you have to accept your fate. There are always consequences, for your actions.
