Part 13) Get your shit together man

I walk out and look around Ponyville. I see people I don't recognize, walking around and talking. Where is August.? Maybe I'll stay in Ponyville for a while until I see her..

I sit on a bench and stare at the ground. I guess I was expecting to see August. I just.. really want to talk to her again.

After a while of looking I lose hope and stand up. I start walking away.. until I see August leaving a.. doctors office.?

My heart and my mind starts to race. What do I say? Should I just walk up to her? No, no. She's gonna think I'm a creep. Should I just not do anything? What if she doesn't see me? I could bump into-

"Discord! Hey!"

I looked up to see August waving at me, a little out of it.

I smile at her and walk over to her.

"Hi!.. August! What are you.. doing here?"

"In Ponyville.? I live here.." She said as she laughed.

"No-! I meant.. here.. like- here." Aghhh I'm just embarrassing myself!! This is humiliating.

"Haha, don't worry I know what you mean. I just came here for a.. check up." She said as she looked at me with a smile. Her eyes looked a little dark.. like she hadn't slept in a while.

"So, ...what are you doing here?" August said as she squinted her eyes, like she was interrogating me.

"I... I had to pick up my suit from Rarity.!" I showed her the suit that was folded in a plastic cover.

"Is that a suit for the gala.?"

"Maybe." I said as I looked at her with a smile.

"That's it. Your going."

"Maybe I said!!" I start to laugh with her.

We laugh for a while and slowly catch our breath.

"Ahh well, I gotta head home. My head is killing me right now."

"Really? Are you okay?" I said. I didn't want the conversation to end yet.

"Yeah I'm fine. I should be getting some rest though."

"Alright.... Do you think we can meet again.? And talk about our gala arrangements?"

She looked at me with a smirk. "How about we meet here tomorrow, at maybe 2?"

"Works for me." I said as I smiled at her.

"Then it's settled. See you soon.!" She said as she waved, walking away.

I waved and stood there for a while. I got to see her again! This isn't weird right..? No, it's just a friend going to see their other friend.

I'm in a good mood, how about I pick up some treats for Celestia and Luna? I head over to Sugar Cube Corner excitedly and walk in.

I look to see all the tables filled, and a jumpy Pinkie Pie running around taking everyone's orders.

"Hi..Pinkie.." I said, trying to look at her while she zoomed around the room.

"Hi Discord..!" She while in her breaths. She's got a lot of work on her hooves.

She then stopped infront the cupcake stand and looked at me.

"So.. what can I... get you.??" She said while out of breath.

"Um, three vanilla sprinkled cupcakes please."

She quickly packed them up and put them in a box for me, with a little ribbon on top. I don't even know how an earth pony can move that fast.

I leave some bits on the counter and walk out.

"Thanks Pinkie!" I said I as waved to her, who was running around handing out peoples food.

"No.. problem.. Discord.!!" I could hear her say between breaths. Pinkie Pie is always full of surprises.

I fly back with my suit and cupcakes in my hands.

I wonder if August liked cupcakes. I mean, who doesn't like cupcakes? Yeah, she definitely likes cupcakes.

I abruptly stop flying for a second to think about what I just thought. Why did I care if August liked cupcakes?? Jesus, I am weird. I shake the thoughts out of my head and continue flying.

Maybe I should move back in Ponyville. Flying from Canterlot to Ponyville and back is such a hassle. I could just..teleport.

I don't really like using my magic though anymore. There's more to life than just snapping my fingers. Plus, I haven't really had that much of a reason to use it... Not anymore.
