Carl's POV
I walk behind everyone, staring at Beth. Noah whispered something in her ear and she smiled and blushed. Asshole. Why does he have to rub it in my face that he has Beth and I don't?! Its no fair! I sigh and glare at the ground. I hate this world.
Beth's POV
I feel so bad about what happened with Carl.. Noah holds my hand tight and I look at him. He looks ahead with his eyebrows furrowed like he was thinking hard about something. I kick a rock and sigh.
I ask Noah "Do you think-"
BAM!!!
My eyes widen
They quickly fill up with tears and I watch Noah go limp, with blood soaking his shirt.
"N-Noah!" I shout, falling to my knees. I begin to cry and I see Carl, lowering his recently fired gun..
