(Y/n Pov)

After a day of conversating with the smp, you all walked back to Phil's house tired and hungry. It had been an eventful day in which you made more friends and possible allies and an enemy. You knew you would have to watch your back around Schaltt now that all that had happened.

Lost in thought, you felt someone nudge your arm looking up, it was Techno he looked slightly concerned.

"You alright there? You've been zoned out ever since we got back" he looked at you, putting an arm around your shoulder.

"Huh-? Oh yeah, I do that sometimes I was just thinking of something is all"

"Right so, standing by the door for 10 minutes being zoned out is nothing?"

Had it been 10 minutes since you were standing there? You hadn't even noticed Luckily no one else was around staring.

"Alright so maybe I was thinking about my encounter with Schaltt today. I had a weird feeling about him, but I didn't want to come off as rude" you rubbed your arm as a nervous action.

"Schaltt isn't a good man he's an alcoholic and throws a giant tantrum whenever he doesn't get what he wants. He's honestly like a child without parents"

"So, an orphan then? How does that relate to alcoholism and tantrums?"

"Well yes, an orphan but more precisely, pathetic he's pathetic"

You couldn't help but laugh at that, I mean Techno had a point and all but to say it is another thing. Before either of you could say anything else, however, Phil called you to come eat dinner which both of you gladly did. It was steak, with baked potato, beetroot stew, milk, and a cake for dessert. After eating you went out on the balcony to look at the clear night sky and all the stars scattered throughout the sky.

"You know, if you want to look at the stars, I have a better place to do so, that is if you're willing to follow me?" The voice belonged none other than to Techno, you turned around and gave him a smile slowly following behind him.

He took you out of the house, through the streets of L'Manburg, through the forest all the way to a clearing that had a gazebo, flowers all around with bees and other creatures, fairy lights strung up all around it with tables and chairs and clear sight to the sky. It was breathe taking that something so small and hidden could be so beautiful.

Techno led you over to the gazebo, standing by your side gazing over the rails and to the starry night sky. You couldn't help but notice he was smiling, something you didn't see him do often. It was comforting when he did it for some reason made you feel safe.

You started to notice some of his features his crimson eyes and how they shined in the night, how his long pink hair shined and clung to his shoulder and down his back, the way he stood always so formal and never slouching, his outfit was always on point, never wrinkled or misplaced and the way his crown glistened and sat on top of his head never falling.

You had never taken time to admire him as much as you were now. Why were you doing this? You weren't sure maybe there was a small crush forming or maybe you looked up to him, but there was something telling you not to stop, that is until he looked at you and spoke up.

"You know it's considered rude to stare at someone and you've been doing so for about 5 minutes now. As they say, you should take a picture, it'll last longer"

"Have I now? Forgive me I hadn't noticed, it seems that it's becoming a habit of mine" you had started to look back up at the sky, a tint of red covering your ears and face.

"A habit now? I would call it more of an addiction since you only seem to stare at me from what I can notice" he grabbed your chin softly turning your face back to him to look him in the eyes.

"So, why don't you tell me what makes you stare at me so much, Y/n?"

You stood there for a moment not sure what to say, you looked up to him in many ways, he had strength that he worked to get, intelligence far beyond anyone you ever knew, other than Phil, he could be caring when he needed to be you could go on and on but nothing for you to say came to mind.

Was it perhaps a small crush that has slowly been forming without you being aware? You couldn't place your finger on what it was all you knew is that he drew you in somehow.

"I'm not quite sure now that I've thought about it, I mean I look up to you for many reasons but that alone just doesn't seem to be the reason"

"Well then, perhaps you should figure out the reason in due time aye?"

Before either of you could speak again the sound of thunder came down along with pouring rain. It was quite a way back to Phil's or Techno's house and the was heavily pouring so you decided to just sit down in the gazebo with Techno joining you. It was silent other than the natural ambiance. The sound of water pouring was much more comfortable than the sound of lava popping.

Your eyes were slowly getting heavier due to sleep slowing pulling you down. However, the gazebo floor and rails were cold, and you didn't want to get sick, so you forced yourself to stay awake. That was until you felt someone pull you into them.

Looking up it was Techno he had pulled you in covering both of you with his cape. It was soft red silk with a white fur trim, and it was certainly warm. Your head was resting on his chest with his head on top of yours. For the first time, you felt butterflies in your stomach. Either way, this was comforting and made you not want to ever leave and with a million different thoughts going through your head you slowly fell asleep in his arms.
