RUDRANEEL

"Yes, I have punished him," I answer calmly to Bhaiya's accusation.
"Why?" He growled.

"Because your son tried to rape a girl in our house, more than that, he instigated me to do the same as well," I calmly replied.
"He did?" I could see bhaiya's shocked reaction.
"Hmm," I answered.
"Shit," Bhaiya replied.

I noticed bhaiya's expressions. There wasn't a bit of anger or resentment showing up in his face. His expressions depicted fear... Fear of getting caught. I can guarantee that Bhaiya was thinking about whatever Avinash did. He wasn't thinking about the fact that how Avinash dared to touch a girl or harm her like that, he was thinking about the fact that how did Avinash got caught. Well, what must I expect from a family like this?

"Rudra... You... You shouldn't have whipped him like that. There could have been other ways of punishing him," Bhaiya spoke.
"Yeah, the other way, when that girl complained to police and then your beloved son would have landed in jail," I resented.
"You have power and money, you could have brought him out," Bhaiya retaliated.
"Yeah, rape attempt is a non-bailable crime," I rolled my eyes.

"But that doesn't mean that you would beat my son in such a brutal way. He didn't deserve that," Bhaiya growled.

Oh, bhaiya's love for his beloved son, even if when he knows he is wrong, something I hate from the core of my heart.

"Yeah, I agree. He should have punished more brutally," I gritted.
No matter whatever I do, I won't tolerate anyone who would try to rape a girl.
"Rudra," Bhaiya shouted.

"Keep your voice low, bhaiya," I growled.
"If you love your son so much that you can't hear a single word against him, or you would like to cover up anything wrong that he does. Please, please... Pack his bags, and take him away from there," I spoke.

I wasn't here to tolerate anyone's bullshit. My family is stupid and I know that, but still, all of this, it's total bullshit.
You guys know that your life is in danger in this city. He won't sit quietly unless he kills you all and still, you guys find every other way to come here and do whatever you like. You guys treat me as your puppet and okay, I am fine with that, but please, please stop behaving like you're a messiah or something.

"Rudra," Bhaiya mumbled.
I could feel bhaiya was at a loss for words.

"Bhaiya, if you don't like the way I treat your son. Take him with you and leave. Let me do my job properly and let me protect you. I have lost enough family already, I don't want to lose you guys now, so just please," I joined my hands and spoke to him in a mocking tone.
I hope he understands my sarcasm and gets the hell out of this city.

"Take care of my son, Rudra. He is everything I have got," bhaiya spoke in a mild tone.

"Kevin," I called him and he stood right beside me.
"Yes boss," he responded.
"Book a ticket for Bhaiya for the next flight to Shimla. And when you get out of here, reach the airport by taking busy roads so that you won't get killed," I ordered Kevin.
"Okay," he nodded.
"Good," I replied and then walked out of there.

AVINASH

"What? But why?" I shouted at dad on the phone.
"I can't do anything, Avinash. And what could I have said? That, you have no right to smack my son or whatever?" Dad argued with me.
"Of course. What else could you say," I replied, irritated.
"Yeah, so that you could have landed in jail after that?" Dad's voice had the same frustration level as mine.
"No, how could I? Chachu loves me," I snapped.
