(Hey! Y/N! We're in dining room for a meeting! Come on down!)

I was woke up by Souma and I could tell, he wasn't messing around. I quickly showered, brushed my teeth, got dressed and went down as quickly as I can. All of them were waiting for me.

The first person to see me was Satoshi. Thank God he's wearing regular clothes because he is such a weirdo. Anyway, I went in the kitchen to cook some breakfast.

(Good morning, Y/N.)

I saw the dorm mother and she was awfully pleasant today.

(Good morning.)

I cooked myself the omelet I made for Erina in the transfer challenge, but I added diced ham to make it better. After a while, I came to the dining room table and ate. As I ate, Souma showed me the flyer of a training camp we'd go to for a couple weeks. I thought it would be interesting, thinking it would be easy.

But when I heard from Ryoko saying that it was called "The Training Camp From Hell", I changed my mind and I was yelling...

(TAKE ME HOME TO AMERICA IMMEDIATELY!)

The whole gang was laughing but it wasn't funny. I wanted to go home and forget about the whole camp.

(Y/N, don't be discouraged. You talented. You have skills to pass. Besides, you're Italian-American, you have an advantage.

(You may be right, but thanks to Ryoko, I feel more scared.)

After saying that, she felt bad and held my hand saying that she was sorry for making me feel insecure. I forgave her, but I gave her a bit of a warning. Ryoko didn't seem too bothered, but promised not to do it again.

(Anyway, we should pack up. The buses should be here by now. I'm gonna go pack some clothes and some hygiene stuff and we'll get going. How's that?)

They all agreed as I went upstairs, I was told one last thing: I wasn't allowed to bring my phone. Phones aren't allowed? Okay. I'll work with that. At least I got my journal to write down my experience here at the training camp.

The buses finally came and we were on our way to where they were taking us. I didn't know what to expect, but as cliche as it sounds, you know what they say: expect the unexpected.

A while after, I decided to nap on the way. Mind you I'm usually a very quiet sleeper, but when we got there, everyone wanted to punch me in the face. If they wanted to because I snore, I'll let them. I won't hold back.

When my dorm and I got out of the bus, I saw a very huge hotel! It was so majestic and expensive than the ones I go to back home in America. It was really cool. Shinji, thank, he said that the rooms at this hotel costs 1.5 million yen to rent! That's almost $13,200 USD!

Jesus Unicycling Christ.

I don't even have that much money! Almost over 1000 students including us were scheduled to meet in the auditorium. When we got there, I was surprised to see Ikumi there.

Y/N: Ikumi!

(Hey Y/N!)

As we shook hands,

(How are you?)

(Doing alright, how about yourself?)

(Well, I'd complain but who'd listen?)

(Listen, I have to say thank you for cheering me up the other day. I really appreciated it after the loss.)

(Don't worry about it. I wanted to help a friend out.)

We had a short conversation because we wanted to know what the announcer was going to say. When we looked at the stage, I saw Chef Chapelle on the stage and started to talk.

(Welcome to Totsuki Resort! For the next few days, you all will be training to become elite chefs. Now, I would like to introduce the chefs of the older generation. The graduates before you.. and your teachers.)

Y/N: What?

As they walk up, Zenji knew most of them. Their names were Kojiro Shinomya, Hinako Inui, Donato Gotoda, Fuyumi Mizuhara, Hitoshi Sekimori, and my inspiration to get in the kitchen, Gin Dojima!

These guys are elite of the elite. They were in the top one percent, and graduated Totsuki Academy.

Kojiro then pointed at a student and thank God it wasn't me.

(Hey you! You there, you're expelled.)

(What?! Why me?!)

(The hair spray that you're wearing is so strong I can smell it from way over here.)

Student 1: ええ、 (Yeah, but-)

(That hair spray could mask the smell of your cooking couldn't it?)

Student 1: まあ、i- (Well, I-)

(I know how it feels to want to look good, but you've gotta think of the customer's needs. So get outta my sight.)

That student ran outta there and was never seen again. This guy Kojiro Shinomya is such a fucking perfectionist that it made me realized I need to stop wearing hair gel for a while.

Soon after the introductions and whatnot, we had to divide into groups and go into a class each. We all promised each other to meet back at the hotel lobby and talk to each other how it all went, but I know for a fact that I have to work hard.

If there's one piece of advice I'd give you, it's never piss your boss off. He could fire you in any job, whether it's being a chef or a construction worker.
