This is a remake from my original Food Wars fanfic and this time, it's going to make the conversations much more clear than everything else. I want to make sure that I fix everything up and hopefully you all enjoy it.

(A/N: For this story, I've chosen to stay with the timeline: seasons 1 and 2 were from 2015 to 2016, which would explain the song choices I've put in, especially how they're before 2015 for the first season and soon enough, there will be songs from 2016 in the second half of this story.
I also want to mention why I would put in the Japanese translation and everything: in the original book for this story, I wanted to make this story sound like if it was an event that actually happened in real life. I was inspired by "Goodfellas", where Ray Liotta, may he Rest In Peace, was the narrator and Lorraine Bracco was the side narrator, which would explain some references I made throughout the story.
This author's note is for people who thought I didn't need the language and the translation to be added. If you don't like what I've done with this story, you don't have to read it. It's that simple.

Erina and I decided to have another date but this time have a walk in the park and have a picnic.
Thing is, she never liked picnics, mostly because of insects trying to get onto her food and ruin it, so I decided to bring some ant repellent for our trip to make a whole lot easier for her.
As she arrived with a cab, we took our basket, went into the car and drove away. We told the driver to go to the Yoyogi Park where we can enjoy ourselves and admire the beauty of nature. He obliged and we were there in minutes.
When we got there, man, it was gorgeous!

Erina and I held hands as we were trying to find a place to settle and we had a conversation about the tournament and what I'm gonna do. I don't know the stipulations, but I'm willing to have a challenge in front of me.
After we found a place, we set up our picnic and got to making sandwiches that she wanted, but my God, the view we had been
Y/N: This is beautiful. Wish I saw this back home.
Erina: You know it is very rare to find cherry blossom in America.
Y/N: Really? I didn't know that.
As we made our sandwiches, we got to talk about the finals, how giving Megumi a Totsuki-Gun armband was necessary, and some other stuff.
Erina: Y/N.
Y/N: Hmm?
Erina: Why did you give Megumi an armband?
Y/N: I get this all the time and I will tell you: I thought Megumi earned it. You have to admit she worked her tail off to make the best dish and of course she didn't end up on the scoreboard. I thought it was my responsibility to give her the armband because Megumi has a ton of heart, that was enough for me to give it to her.
Erina: I see.
Y/N: I wanna make sure that everyone has a chance to show what they can do in the kitchen. If that doesn't mean anything, I don't know what does.
