we found dumbledore waiting with draco and the amnesiac lockheart i was carrying ginny princess carry while hermione held the diary
"that is the diary that bewitched ginny and has been controlling the basilisk behind me the basilisk itself now belongs to me and i shall be shipping out of here i shall kill it after i make use of it and then i shall make use of it's corpse" i said the headmaster nodded
"very well shall we leave then" he asked i nodded and we left the chamber letting it close behind me
"i shall speak with the ministry telling them the threat has been dealt with and get our groundskeeper back" dumbledore said i nodded
"jilny" i called
"yes young master" jilny asked
"can you take the basilisk home and tell mother to use it as she sees fit" i asked jilny nodded and placed her hand on the side of the basilisk before disapparating
we traveled to professor McGonagall's office to find arthur and molly weasley at this point i chose to put the girl in my arms down
"MOM DAD" she yelled as she ran to them
"was it you who saved our daughter" arthur asked i nodded
"thank you" molly said
"my pleasure" i replied
"he's harry potter" ginny said excitedly
"i prefer the name hadrian grindelwald but yes i am the boy who lived" i said
"we heard you vanished" arthur said
"no i returned to one of my home estates, where my mother was waiting for me" i said
"lily is alive" molly asked
"yes though my father is in fact dead, and i learned i have an older sister" i said
"well that's great" arthur said
"please come visit us" molly said
"how about i invite you instead it would be a bit better then me coming to your overcrowded home" i said they nodded
"well then i believe we are done here, hermione, draco, let us return to the common room i wish to relax" i said they nodded and followed me out
"you know i never thought i'd become a crony, then again it isn't a bad thing really draco said as we entered our common room and i collapsed into a high back chair placing my feet on the coffee table in front of it
"well that was definitely interesting" i said
"master grindelwald sir" jilny said
"yes jilny" i asked
"i have been ordered to inform you that the mistress has received the gift and will begin immediately" jilny said
"and how is dobby doing" i asked
"dobby has not been fully accepted as a house-elf of the family until after the ritual is complete" jilny said
"i see, very well then off you go, your dismissed" i said
"yes master grindelwald sir" jilny said as she disapparated back to peverell castle i sighed as leaned back further into the chair
"i am so not looking forward to the summer coming up" i said
what made matters worse was school was let out early so everyone could calm their nerves from the basilisk attacks several months early this meant several extra months of training something harry and hermione dreaded
