chapter 21: sirius black

through the conversation they didn't notice the train had stopped and that a dementor had boarded the wards placed on the compartment were incredibly strong to the point it got rid of them practically immediately

they again warding is one of harry strongest suits

our first classes were decent this however was when we heard of the attack of the fat lady gryffindors portrait 

"sirius" draco asked

"sirius" i confirmed

"well out comes the marauders map" hermione said as she pulled it from her robes she insisted to be the one to carry it to keep the other two out of trouble

"is that the whomping willow" draco asked

"it's for remus, sirius is using it as a hiding place of course" i said with a snap of my fingers

"what do you mean harry" hermione said

"my mother and uncle severus told me stories of their shenanigans they used them as lessons mostly, anyway they told me remus was a werewolf and that hogwarts had built a special place for remus so he couldn't hurt anyone" i said

"and the your father and sirius probably knew it" hermione said connecting the dots

"exactly, let's grab uncle severus and meet my other godfather" i said they nodded

"Mr. grindelwald, Mr malfoy, Miss granger what i can i do for you three" severus asked

"we found him, we know where he is" i said he nodded astutely 

"then let us go" severus said he also knew of the marauders map and figured they would pull it out immediately

"there sir" i said pointing at the willow and he shook his head

"i should have known" severus said he drew his wand and shot the tree with a spell

as the four of them entered the passage severus in the lead he was the first to enter

"hello sirius" severus said

"snivellus" sirius said in shock this caused me to draw my wand

"call my godfather that again and we will just give you back to the dementors" i said threateningly

"harry, what has he told you i can assure you it isn't true" sirius said recognizing his godson immediately

"so you call mum a liar too" i asked

"of course not, wait she's alive" he asked i nodded as i sheathed my wand

"never call uncle sev, snivellus again, unlike you has at least somewhat been there, and made up for the fact i had to live with muggles most of my life" i said

"listen harry, i'm sorry i won't call him that again, and i apologize to you as well severus"  sirius said he waved it off

"my concern is no longer you" severus said in a matter of fact tone

"so where's pettigrew" i asked

"it's a rat, the weasley boy owns" sirius said

"how did you learn that" i asked

"the whole weasley family is in the prophet after last year it doesn't surprise me, that it got to him" severus said

"that's why you attacked the fat lady, you wanted to get to the rat" harry asked sirius nodded

"well fortunately for me i'm in slytherin as that would have scared me to death" i said

"wait your in slytherin" sirius said

"yeah something wrong with that oh i should mention i dropped my fathers name, my name is hadrian grindelwald though i still go by harry, and before you ask yes i am related to grindelwald he is my mothers father, she was adopted by muggles which is where she gets the evans name though when father died she also took back her name grindelwald" i explained he nodded dumbly

"alright tomorrow we are gonna say high to a new friend, stay here sirius we will bring the rat to you, but you can't kill him as he is our only ticket to your freedom and i will need you to tell me how to inherit your house and what is expected for the black family" i said he nodded

"who ronald" hermione asked

"nope, ginny" i said with a smug smile she smirked

"your hanging the fact you saved her life over her head" hermione said

"no i am just gonna ask her cooperation is all, in helping to bring a man to justice" i said simply

"good let's go then" i said as i led the group from the shack and back to the castle
