After dinner, the students changed out of their P.E. uniforms and into their casual clothes and returned outside to finish off cleaning the dishes.

As she rinsed the plate and handed it for Sero to dry, Yumi glanced over to the frowning Bakugou.

"Ever thought of losing that scowl? You'll get wrinkles by the time you're twenty if you keep this up." She teasingly remarked.

Taken aback, Katsuki sputtered a hurried retort. "You already have wrinkles!" He growled.

"Good one." Akano hummed, irking the boy even further.

"You guys are too energetic..." Kirishima said, his words drowned out as they continued to bicker. However, the look on Bakugou's face lacked scorn as he yelled and Yumi was smiling, bemused.

As Kaminari and Sero complained about their extra lessons, the electric blonde's amber eyes were drawn to Kirishima's red shoes.

"WHAT ARE THOSE?!" Denki exclaimed, bending downwards as he threw his arms to point at the atrocity his friend was wearing.

Kirishima shrugged, casually responding as he glanced at his shoes and then his friend. "They're my crocks."

"Seriously?!" Mineta chimed in.

"Hey, don't make fun of him." To their surprise, Yumi piped in, seemingly to defend Kirishima. And the boy's expression lightened as a result, until she spoke further. "It's enough that his dignity's leaking out from those tiny holes in his shoes." She teasingly smiled, her words drawing full-on belly laughter from both Kaminari and Mineta.

"Good one!" The purple haired midget proclaimed, raising his hand over towards Yumi to request a high five.

Scrunching her nose, the girl was quick to shake her head in refusal. "I'm not touching that." She said, nodding towards his hand and eliciting a chuckle from Eijiro this time around.

As he stood by the dish drying station, Bakugou looked over at the two redheads as they exchanged lighthearted comments, his vermilion eyes holding an indescribable look.

"Bakugou?" Sero piped up since he was waiting for the male to hand him the plate so he could put it away.

Bakugou turned his attention back to the flat-faced boy, clicking his tongue. "Here,"

Once it was time to bathe and go to sleep, Bakugou was the first to head off to bed, while his shark-teethed friend followed suit, as per usual.

"Kirishima," Katsuki began, his gravely voice slightly echoed as he laid on his futon.

The room was still quiet since the rest of the boys were getting dressed in the adjacent one. With only the two of them present.

Alarmed at his brash friend's uncharacteristically calm demeanor, Kirishima's stopped drying his hair. "What?"

"It's better if you aren't caught alone with Akano." The blonde plainly stated without explanation.

"Eh?"

"She plots things." Bakugou added, but his words added further confusion.

Eijirou's eyebrows shot up as he sent the boy an incredulous look. "Plots? What are you talking about, Bakugou? Are you half-asleep?"

"All I'm saying is that she's too hard to understand." Bakugou grumbled, his tone of voice too vague to determine. "I can never figure out what she's thinking, and she can barge in our heads as she may well please."

The ash blonde didn't even give Kirishima the chance to respond, continuously babbling as he gazed at the ceiling. "She's always blunt." He scoffed. "I thought she'd be impossible to get along with. But before I knew it, she fit in. Like she always belonged."
