Light had mailed the death note to his father to fill in for Kira. His plan was to get Soichiro Yagami to make the shinigami eye deal and kill Mello for him.
The next day, Mr. Yagami came into the task force with the death note in his hands. You already saw Ryuk behind him. The whole task force was already inside.
I should definitely stop him from doing the eye deal. This will make it so much harder to save him.
"I will take the deal with the eyes." Mr. Yagami announced.
"I can do it," you volunteer, preparing to take on the role.
I already have the shinigami eyes. This will be easy.
"I can't let you do that. You still have a life ahead of you. " Mr. Yagami told you solemnly.
"I've already agreed. I'll take the eye deal. " Mr. Yagami said, leaving no room for debate.
Task: Allow Mr. Yagami to make the deal and successfully save his life.
Reward: Resurrect one character from the dead.
Punishment: L and Watari will die.
