I looked up seeing Dave come into the room with food which I knew automatically was from our local chopped cheese spot.

"ooo thank you baby" I said , meeting his kiss while he bent down putting the food on the bed.

"You're welcome ma, why is the house so quiet where are the girls," he said taking out all his stuff in his pocket which became a habit he has before he gets in bed.

"Umm aria is next door with isa and kunie is with chase of course" I told him

"This late?" He scrunched up his face which made me look at the time

11:28 pm

Now, kunie knows how her daddy is why she-

"It's 11:30? I didn't even realize, to be honest" I said before popping a fry in my mouth and grabbing my phone

Mommy- Where are you, you know how your dad is about you being out late with chase...not trying to hear it tonight kunie

Kunie- sorry we got caught up in something I'm omw ma!

I raised my eyebrow "She said they got caught up in something" I looked over at Dave.

He looked back at me "I been told u they were fucking"

"Omg dave" I did not wanna hear this right now. He thinks

"What? I was 17 before I know what stuff means"

"I was too but they've been best friends since we moved here. They know no one but each other. and I trust kunie she's told me plenty of times she's not ready for all that."

"I trust her too but she is only telling you that because your momma nay what she is supposed to tell you. K is sneaky and I know this cause she gets it" he said taking a bite out of his sub

"Dave shut up" I laughed at him

He chuckled "we just need to have a sit down cause this 12 am coming in ain't gonna cut it."

"Look at you in daddy mode" I smiled at him before sipping my drink

"I'm always in daddy mode"

"Are you in daddy mode right now?" I asked moving my now empty box out the way
