AN OLD MARRIED COUPLE is what they were. This time Klaus was prepared knowing how angry she'd be at him. Rebekah and Hayley knew too, so they left the house leaving Klaus with her.

She was angry that Sam was locked up downstairs to be tortured for information he didn't know. Marcel was careful. He knew even if he gave Sam hints it would make him viable, so he kept him in the dark. But Klaus is too paranoid to believe any of it.

"You're nothing but a lying, half-breed, conniving bastard!" She continued to shout while Klaus sat on the single sofa just listening to every word, "I don't mean any of that, but I'm angry." She went back to her sweet self before flipping the switch again to angry Elara.

"You can't do this. It's not fair." She grimaced throwing her hands up. At this point she was getting tired of yelling at him, so was the baby, "you just you can't do this. Not to him, Klaus, please." She sat on the edge of the coffee table in front of where the hybrid sat.

He let out a deep breath now able to talk, "are you done?" He asked her keeping his voice soft and light. She nodded tiredly and he stood clicking his teeth, "good. Go get some rest, I'll be back later."

She scoffed and grabbed a book off the table chucking it at his head, "Bastard!" She stomped away going upstairs, slamming her door.

She grabbed her phone bringing it to her ear.

"Hey, stef, it's me. You know your best friend. I don't really know where you are, but I miss you, call me back. If you don't I'll haunt your dreams with bunnies that fight back. Byeee,"

Even though she had somewhat of a normal life here she still missed her best friend. Nothing was the same anymore.

Here she was alone in the biggest house she had ever been in, with nothing to do, and she was tired.

She grabbed her pillow and a throw blanket, leaving her room.

When she opened the heavy, steel door she smiled softly going to her residential spot.

She laid her head on his shoulder, and he laid his on top of hers, "rough day." She nodded feeling her eyes getting heavy, "I miss you without chains. I'd unchain you, but it's like he swallowed the key." She chuckled lightly.

She had looked all over for that key but had no luck.

"I know, sunshine, go to sleep." He grabbed her hand interlocking their fingers. He didn't blame the pregnant girl next to him, it wasn't her fault. Even if she did blame herself he knew it was only the doing of the hybrid.

Back at the compound of vampires, Marcel was going crazy trying to find the young boy. When he went to go question Sam at the church, Davina said he hadn't come. He called his phone multiple times and got no answer. He even went to all of his favorite places and came back with nothing.
