KLAUS FELL BACK ONTO his bed with a grunt. He grabbed her hips to hold her in place. His fingers dug into the skin of her hips as she grinded against him.

Elara leaned down to kiss his lips. Klaus pulled back with an annoyed groan. "What Elijah?" Elara and Klaus both looked towards the door where the suited brother stood.

The tall brother looked away from the two of them. "You two seem to be having a...delightful morning," Elara rolled off of Klaus, grabbing his shirt at the end of the bed. Once the shirt was over her body Elijah started to speak.

"You'll be pleased to know that I've located the last of the 12 rings forged with your blood."

Klaus felt relief flow through his body. No more of the weakening pain every month. And now, they could finally strike back at those who wronged them.

"It's time?" Elara sat up against the headboard. "None too soon. Are you two well?" Elijah asked.

Elara hates that question. Elijah had asked it so many times the last few months, that they grew not to answer anymore. Each time he asked it was a reminder of why they aren't doing well. Elijah only asked out of the comfort of hoping that someday they would be.

Klaus grabbed her hand under the blanket. Elara loved that Klaus was there for her, but she also hated that he babied her.

Elara gave him a look that Klaus ignored. "Don't you have anywhere else to be, brother?"
Elijah nodded and left them alone, closing the door.

Klaus rolled his eyes getting out of the bed. Elara looked at him. "You know he means well," she said. "It's not exactly like there's a book that teaches you what to do when your brother's child is taken from him."

Klaus took in a sharp breath, putting his clothes on.

"Nik.." he started to dress himself. "Where are you going?" She asked. Klaus disappeared a lot and Elara worried more about him than herself. "Klaus."

He slammed his hands against the dresser, creating a hole.

Elara scoffed getting out of the bed. She grabbed her pants, pulling them over her legs.

Things should've gone back to normal. They should've gone back to being happy and in love, while trying to bring their daughter home, but they didn't. They yelled, argued, and ran away.

"Where do you go? It's like you completely disappear."

"What do you want from me?"

"You don't talk to Elijah and you sure as hell don't talk to me, so where do you go?"

Elara's back hit the wall with a loud thump. Klaus stood in front of her, keeping her in her spot.

"You know...little wolf. Crying in the nursery for hours straight isn't really any better is it?"
