THE DRIVE BETWEEN THE hybrid and the pregnant girl was completely silent and awkward. Usually, Elara would at least like the radio, but she didn't even want that.

They rode in silence, sitting in their thoughts.

All the lies, the deception, everything. Just when she was about to try to build some sort of friendship or acquaintance with him all of this came out.

Everyone's been lying to her.

There's a big part of her life that she has no memory of.

And there was still so much more she wasn't even aware of.

They pulled up to the big plantation. Klaus turned off the car and before he could try to say anything to her she was already out of the car.

Hayley, who heard the car ran outside.

"Oh my god. You're okay," she tried to hug Elara. Elara pushed past her and into the house.

Hayley looked to Klaus and he just shook his head, tossing her his car keys. "Elijah's waiting on you in the bayou." He said before he ran inside.

He heard loud shaking and pounding. Walking through the house he found Elara shaking the door to his art room.

The one place besides his room that she never went in, or even tried to. The only place she was forbidden from.

"Love..."

She snapped her head towards him. "No! Enough with the pet names, no more. Is this why you never let me even get a peek inside? Is it more lies?" He couldn't answer her because it was what she already knew. It's what he tried to hide her from. "Open the door, Klaus."

"I can't do that," he refused. She wasn't prepared yet. She bit her lip and nodded. Elara dropped her hand from the door and went to leave. He grabbed her wrist as she walked past, "not until I've told you what you want to know."

Elara looked at his hand wrapped around her small wrist. She looked back up at him, "I want the truth. No more lies."

Turning around towards the bar she went towards the guy who just sat down.

"What can I get ya?" She asked ready to go home.

The man lifted his head, his blue eyes meeting her own. He looked at her immediately noticing how beautiful she was.

Elara on the other hand was annoyed with how long he was taking.

"I'm about to give water and a cherry." She sat in her hip.

He chuckled looking down at the bar, "whiskey, top-shelf." She nodded turning to grab a bottle of the brown liquor. She grabbed a glass, pouring it into his glass.
