piles and piles of maple leaves were scattered everywhere, ritou was iconic for them. no matter what season it was, the trees still flourished.
tomo and kazuha loved maple leaves, even their attires resembled the reddish orange pigment.
i followed behind thoma cautiously, keeping my distance so i wouldn't accidentally bump into him. though there was sort of a commotion going on somewhere as it was particularly busier than usual.
people were left, right and centre. squishing me between them. my claustrophobia was really acting up now. what could possibly be going on?
thoma was nowhere to be seen.
" thoma?"
i bumped into multiple strangers whilst trying to escape, apologising to each and every one of them. now i was much further from the original place that i had lost thoma.
the wind was picking up harshly now and storm clouds gathered above me. this can't be good. rain wasn't necessarily what i was expecting.
" ow, sorry."
i had ran into a rather familiar looking individual.

i coughed awkwardly. his scarlet red eyes piercing into my e/c ones, his stare didn't drop but awaited me for a verbal response.
the crowd manoeuvring around us attracted to the racket somewhere ahead, just like a moth to a flame.
his appearance didn't change much except he was wearing a medium sized rice hat, most likely to not get noticed by the tenryou commission or the shogunate.
although it wasn't really working as he stuck out like a sore thumb compared to non vision bearers and normal inazuman people.
