Deep Conversations & Confessions

Annabeth POV

"Oh for the love of the Gods!" Percy yelled. "I already told you! We're over. We. Are. Done! What part of that was lost in translation?"

"I'm just trying to fix everything!" she yelled back.

"Well, stop trying! I'm done with you! I'm sick and tired of you coming after me every day to see if you want to... what's the word you used? 'Hook up' with me? You're disgusting."

"I'm just saying-"

"I don't give a crap what you're saying!" Percy shouted. "You're the one who cheated on me. You're the one who broke it off with me. You're the one who told me you didn't love me. You're the one who was faking everything! You're the reason we broke up. So you don't get to change that!"

"I just think we should-"

"I don't," Percy said firmly.

"And plus!" Hannah cried. "Of all the girls you chose after me you chose Annabeth Chase?"

"Don't talk about her like that," Percy growled.

It was supposed to be a chill cafeteria, with our entire friend group studying for the Chem test after. But no, Hannah and Drew had decided to make a scene right in the middle of the cafeteria.

"Baby..." I said, rubbing his back.

"It's true," Hannah said with a smile. Clearly she was trying to get Percy worked up. "You could do so much better than her."

Percy shrugged me off. "Shut up, Hannah. It's not like you're any better."

Hannah smirked. "Well, it's a good thing you've moved on then, because I slept with Matt Sloan."

Percy's face paled and it was struck with pain. "Y-you did what?"

"You heard me alright," Hannah said, her smirk becoming wider. "But I'll say it again. It's a good thing you've moved on because I slept with Matt Sloan."

Percy stepped back in shock, pain clearly written across his handsome face. His muscles tensed and he no longer looked like he was breathing.

"Okay, that's enough," Silena announced. "You did what you came here to do. Now get lost."

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" Hannah asked, smiling sweetly. "This is between Percy and I... but I'll go, and let that information sink in with you." She turned on her heel and marched out, with Drew at her side.

It's funny, when Hannah wasn't here, Drew ruled the school. Now that Hannah was here, Drew was a helpless little minion.

Percy stood helplessly there, staring at the door that Hannah walked through.

"I still love you," Drew whispered on the way out.

Percy regarded her coldly. "I expected better from you... no. This is exactly how you are."

Drew gave him a sad look and ran out of the cafeteria. Percy sighed.

"Alright, everyone, shows over!" Thalia yelled. But no one listened to her and continued staring at Percy.

"What are you all looking at?" Percy snapped. "This isn't a movie. Or a TV show. Mind your own business."

Everyone looked away immediately. As I said before, Percy was practically royalty at this school. I word from him, and they'd shut up. He had led the whole school to win the swim, football, and basketball championships. Not to mention he was exceptionally good looking.
