Chapter 32 : You're right, I slept with her.

The lights flickered as the snow outside grew stronger. Philipia couldn't help but look up at the lights and outside the floor to ceiling window.

“The news said there'll be a storm coming in 3 days. I better go out for groceries. You coming with me niece?” Jack, who was at the kitchen, untied his apron.

Philipia gave a nod.

Jack reminded, “Wear something thick.”

Philipia went to her room and wore a thick heavy coat, gloves and a scarf.

When they went down, they saw the snow already blocking a bit of the entrance that even the glass door had already formed a thick layer of frost. Jack held Philipia's hand and they both went out by pushing the door with a little bit of strength, just enough to push the snow blocking the way.

Nobody spoke, because every time they breath, it's like breathing ice in their throat. Once they arrive to the school store, they saw a few leaders already forming a line.

Arctic greeted, “Hello, are you here to take your groceries for today?”

Philipia nodded, “Yes.”

Jack breaths in and stood in front of the heater, even rubbing his hands with his gloves together. “The storm in this country is quite severe. I hate it.”

Arctic replied, “Or so I heard.”

Whilst the two spoke. Antarctica approached philipia and made her wear an earmuffs. He said, with a slight drag on his words, “You wear it... it's warm.”

Philipia held the earmuffs and did feel like her freezing ears were slightly getting warmer. Though, her hearing was a bit muffled, but all in all; it was comfortable.

“Thank you” she said.

Antarctica gave a slight nod and went to another leader and gave them an earmuffs.

When it was their turn, they went inside and took the necessities they needed. New Zealand saw philipia taking a basket and couldn't help but walk over. He said, while habitually pushing his glasses. “Philipia, do you want help?”

Philipia was about to reject his offer but Jack interrupted and shove two basket to him and said, “Ah yeah, can you put the things in the basket from this list? Thanks a lot.” after that, he took philipia's hand and went the other direction.

New Zealand stood there, carrying two empty basket and a long list of groceries: …

Australia, who wasn't far, wanted to laugh. But if he does, his brother will beat him up so he held it back with a cough.

New Zealand already saw his expression but merely gave him a glare.

Jack pulled philipia to the meat section. She stood there and waited for her uncle doing his business as he poke a meat here and there, mumbling ‘this isn't tender, this is too hard.’

Like a good girl, she waited and followed after him whenever he takes even just one or two steps forward.

Jack realize he's holding his niece back, he said, “why don't you go and get your own groceries? you can take your time.”

Philipia acquiesced and gave the basket to him as she went ahead and explore the huge store. The school store was the same as any other stores. But it is only larger and bigger, it even has 6 floors with different varieties to choose from. Not only does the school has things from Tethyria. But it also has things from different countries. From A to Z, inside the school store had all the leaders needed.

Philipia went to the second floor and search for her country's name, but paused in her step and went to the ‘R’ section, which has Russia's and two other countries: Romania and Rwanda.
