Ari was picking Arlo up from school while I was playing cod with my best buddy griffin.

About 20 minutes later the dogs start barking and Arlo's voice booms through the house.

"Momma where are you?" She shouts

"I love arlo I really do y/n but she's enough to put me off having sex without a condom" griffin says through the headset.

I snicker

"Griff, buddy you won't get that far in life" I say logging off.

I go over to my daughter.

She runs over and jumps into my arms nearly knocking me over in the process.

"Hey stink how was school" I ask placing a kiss on her head and walking us over to the couch.

"it was okay we painted pictures"she says showing me the picture.

What I've learn about becoming a parent you gotta tell little white lies to make your child happy even if there drawings don't exactly look the best.

"Damn we have a little bob ross on our hands high five".

She gives me a high five and ari walks in the room.

She comes over and gives me a kiss then sits next to us.

"She show you her painting"

"Mhm" I mumble out trying not to laugh

"Alright talk me through this painting who's who" I ask arlo who's sitting on my lap

"That's mommy" she says pointing to the small stick like figure.

"Why's mummy smaller than you" I ask

"well I wasn't gonna draw her tall that would be lying".

I couldn't hold my laughter in which made ari hit my arm.

"HEY..Back to my painting"

"Yes ma'am" bossed about by a 5 year old who would of thought it.

"That's you because your tall, then me ,then doggos and piggy".

"Alright by why do I look like slender man"

"Slender who" she looks at me confused

"Nobody stink I'll show you when your older"

"Can we play outside please" she asks giving me puppy dog eyes.

"That alright with you babe" I ask turning to ari

"Yeah tires her out then it won't be much fuss to get her to bed later".

"Alright stink I'll be out in a minute I just gotta use the bathroom first".

"Okay momma" she runs off with the dogs to the back garden.

Once she was out of sight I pull ari on top of me

"You didn't really have to pee did you?" She asks

"No I just wanted five minuets with my wife before I get chased around that big ass back yard with Arlo tryna break my ankles  with her toy car"

She laughs and pulls me into a kiss which was quickly interrupted by a small gasp.

"Momma you lied lying is a sin" Arlo shouts pointing her finger at me.

"What are you Jesus now" I ask

"Yes bow down to me"

I hear Ari laughing beside me

"Glad you think me getting bitched by our 5 year old is funny" I say moving her off me and walking over to Arlo.

"Glad to see you have your mother's attitude" I say picking her up and carrying her outside.

"Momma come play in my playhouse"

"Arlo I'm not going to fit in that I'll sit outside how's that"

"No" she stomps her foot.

"Oi less of the my way attitude or we will go back inside" I say

She huffs

"Fine"

20 minutes of being bossed around we head inside ariana's laying on the couch watching catfish.

"Alright I'm gonna go pick dinner up go pester your mommy for awhile" I say shooing her away

"Babe pad Thai?" I ask her while putting my shoes on.

"Yeah thanks love".

I grab my keys and drive to pick up ari's dinner first then I drive to a McDonald's for me and Arlo since we both are fussy motherfuckers.

I carry everything into the kitchen and they follow me.

"Momma did you get me nuggies".

"yep nuggies fries and tomato sauce here you are stink" I hand her the food.

"It's ketchup momma"

"my bad" i mumble

She runs off to the couch

And I give ari her food.

"Thank you baby" she kisses me

"No problem love"

We eat and watch a movie before arlos bedtime.

"Let's go arlo time for bed " ari says turning the tv off.

Arlo goes to whine but I stop her

"Ay when your mom says it's time for bed you listen".

They go upstairs I lock everything up making sure the dogs have water and turn off the lights before sprinting up the stairs them demons in the dark man hell no I don't want dragged thanking you.(no because I'm 16 and I still do this it's scary man)

I go into Arlo's room give her a kiss goodnight and make my way to mine and ari's.

I walk in to see her getting change and I go wrap my arms around her waist laying my head on her shoulder.

"You tired?"

"Mhm" I mumble leaving little kisses on her neck.

"Go change then we can go to sleep" I nod and go into the closet and shove on some pjs.

I dive into bed enjoying the feeling of the warmth of the duvet.

Ari gets in too and lays on top of me

"You comfy there" I ask looking down at her.

"Yeah"

"i want another baby" she says out the blue

"Maybe in a year arlo is already a handful" I say drifting off to sleep.

"Night love" she says kissing my chest

"Night" I say letting sleep take over me.
