When I arrived back to the room later than evening, I was exhausted.
I barely managed to message Mirae so she could save my contact, before I felt my eyelids drooping.

Kicking my shoes off, I gave in, curling myself into a ball on the bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

When Felix knocked on the door to the room, he expected you to open it.
He got worried when you didn't answer.
He didn't even understand why he was so worried. You were just friends, weren't you? Plus he barely knew you.
But despite that, with his own key, he unlocked the door.
He walked in, only for his heart to melt.
You had fallen asleep still in your clothes from the day, above the covers.
He frowned, knowing it was going to drop to colder temperatures later that night.

So as gently as he could, he pulled the blankets out from under you, so he could tuck you beneath them.
Kissing you softly on the forehead, he smiled gently to himself, before he closed the door behind him, locking you in.

He felt his eyes dart around the hall, as they landed on a camera, the shutter clicking.
He was glad his mask and hood could cover him from those mechanical devils.
He was also glad you were different.

He was going to keep you from finding out who he was.
Even if that meant lying to you.
It was important to him that you didn't treat him like he was better than you.
Especially since you had a history with wanting to be an idol.
He assumed it would upset you, so he swore to keep it secret.

He also had to keep your friendship secret from the boys.
That was the real reason.
The only person he had told was Bang Chan, because he needed advice.
Advice on what to do, and how to be friends.
Saying he had wanted to approach you ages ago.

Two months, Three weeks ago
Felix sat on the Mario kart machine, watching as all the lights blinked around him.
He watched the door, seeing you enter.
He couldn't help but smile to himself. You were so beautiful, and you liked games!
But he couldn't bring himself to talk to you- so he just sat there, pushing his coin down the slot.

"Is this one free?" I asked, sitting beside the boy.
"Oh, yeah it is. Wanna play with me?" He asked.
I nodded, pushing my coin down as well as I sat down.

He watched as I chose my character.
"Princess Peach? I picked you more as a Waluigi girl." He joked, picking Mario.
"Mario is pretty basic, man." I chuckled.
"Mario is better than Peach, though." He said.

I played him three times, his hood hiding his eyes.
I had no idea what he looked like, but his phone started vibrating during our fourth round, causing him to lose as he took the call.
"Thanks for playing with me. It was nice." He said, walking off on me, halfway through his round.

He knew I couldn't see it, but he was a blushing mess.
Why? You didn't treat him special.
You just acted like he was a normal person.
That's all he was.

Sunday - present day
I woke up tangled in the covers.
I was also very confused- did I tuck myself in last night?
I probably did, I was just too tired to remember.
The wired phone began to ring in the corner, so I stumbled out of bed, answering it.

"Yes?"

"Miss L/N, there's a car waiting for you."

"Tell them I'll be down in," I looked around the messy room, and down to my messy attire.
"Ten minutes?"

"Of course Miss."

With that the man hung up, and I got to work.
I hopped in the shower, quickly rinsing myself, rubbing at the make up on my face.
I didn't have any with me, so I just pulled my mask on, changing into one of the new sets of clothes I bought.

I rushed down to the lobby, bags in my hands as I finally got out the front.
He was waiting for me, glancing around carefully.
He walked up to me, pulling an arm around me.
"Keep your head down. Paparazzi always swarm this hotel, and they might confuse you for a celebrity." He whispered.
"You flatter me too much. It's fine." I whispered back, as he took my bags from me.

He helped me load them into the trunk of his car, opening my door for me.
I hopped in, and he walked quickly around to his side.
We drove off back to Suwon, the first ten minutes completely silent.
"You usually take your mask off." He pointed out.
"I didn't have any make up." I answered honestly, looking out the window.
"Make up doesn't make people beautiful. You look just fine without it, I'm sure."

I hummed in response, watching out the window as we drove.
"Can I have like, your number? It would've been easier for you to call me from my phone this morning instead of through the hotel." I asked, as he pulled up at the mall, beside my car as I had instructed.

"That's not a good idea." He muttered.
"Then can I at least have a name to call you by instead of just Sunshine?" I asked, frowning.

"Uh, maybe one day." He said, hopping out the car quickly to avoid further questioning.
He moved my bags into the trunk of my car in silence, before getting back into his.
He started reversing, before he stopped, winding down the window to talk to me.

"I might not be around for a while." He said, avoiding my eyes.
"Why?" I asked, trying not to hide how I was hurt.
Of course I was. I had never been more happy in the last week than I have been in years, because I had company.
Now he was, leaving?

"It's to do with my work. Just- spend the time for yourself okay? I'll be back soon." He said, rolling his window back up, and driving off.

So my sunshine was gone.
