"Yo wake up" Reem said shaking me hard as ever.

I sat up slowly so he could know i was up and looked outside and it was still dark and we were still outside.

"His baby coming bro come on" He said then ran off back in the building.

I tapped Majai's leg repeatedly to wake him up, but he wouldn't budge.

"BRUH WHAT" He yelled making me flinch.

"What was that for?" I asked as a cold tear came down my face.

"You ain't have to tap me like that Zuri" He said patting his pockets.

I got up and walked back in the building. I'm tired of him seeing me cry cause i don't even cry like that.

"They only let 2 people in and it was her mama and Blood" Keem said.

"That's a tear?" Reem asked eyeing my face.

"Nope" I said putting my hood on. I put my arms in my hoodie and laid out on the chair staring ahead of me.

I saw Majai come back in and he walked over to me and tapped my leg.

"Stop" I said then kicked him in the knee.

"Aye keep yo feet to yo self" He said sitting down beside me.

I laid there for a while and before i knew it i was sleeping again.

"Z!!" Reem said waking me up...again.

"Whattt" I whined.

"He here! Our nephew here!" He said excited.

"Can we see him?" I asked sitting up.

"Yeah, they got him all cleaned and stuff" He said. He waited for me while i got up and stretched.

We walked to the elevator and went into the room.

My dad was holding him smiling hard like a child.

"He look like me" He said.

"Boy he do not look like yo ugly ass" Carters baby mom said.

I glanced at her, that was uncalled for.

"You wanna say hey to your auntie Z?" He asked.

I went over the sink and washed my hands.

I walked back over to my dad and he handed me...i don't even know the name.

"What's his name?" I asked adjusting his blanket.

"Frank" Carter said.

"What?" I know he didn't.

"Nah i'm playing" He said laughing. "His name Amir"

"Oh okay, Hi Amir" I said looking at him. "You're so handsome, im going to spoil you so bad" I said even though he can't hear me since he's sleep.

"Let me see him" His mom said.

I went over and handed him to her then went to sit beside Reem.

"He's so adorable" I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

He didn't say anything and just watched.

I looked at majai and he waved me over to him.

I went and sat over there. "Hi"

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't i be?" I asked.

He didn't say anything else and just watched me.

"Stop" I said covering my face.

"I can't look at you?" He asked moving my hand.

"No" I said.

"Word? Be like that then" He said shrugging.

I just laughed.

next morning

My dad dropped us off back at our moms house around 5 am. It was pretty late.

As soon as i got back in i took a quick shower and went into Reems room and fell asleep. I never sleep in my own room and neither does Keem we all sleep Reems room. I don't know why.

"Y'all" Someone whispered.

"Yes?" I whispered back.

"My ass itch" They said making me laugh.

"Shhh" They urged.

"Oh my gosh who is that?" I said calming my laugh.

"It's Reem"

"Goodnight Reem" I said.

"Night"
