the next day

I looked at my hair in the mirror and ran my hands over it.

"I need a cut" I said.

I jumped in the shower real quick and washed my body and my hair.

I got out the shower and put a towel around my waist and went to the closet and picked out some shorts and got a black tee.

I looked over at Zuri and she was still sleeping. That girl can sleep all day long.

I got dressed and put on some lotion.

I went over to the bed and jumped on Zuri cause she need to wake up. Like right now.

"Ouchhhh" She whined. She tried to push me off but i didn't go anywhere.

"Wake uppp" I said.

"I'm up can you please get off of me" She said.

"Ew your attitude is stinky today" I said standing up.

She ignored me and just went in the bathroom and closed the door.

"What the fuck is wrong with her" I said to myself.

I sat on the bed and texted my barber and told him i'll be there later on.

When Zuri got done brushing her teeth and washing the crust off her face she came over to the bed and tried to grab her phone. But i took it before she could.

"What's wrong?" I asked as i put it in my pocket.

"Nothing" She said. "Can i get my phone please"

"Something is wrong, you homesick?" I asked.

"No" She said and started rubbing her eyes. "It's just early"

"Youon like talking inna morning huh?" I asked.

She shook her head.

I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer so she was standing in between my legs.

"It's too early to be this close" She said.

I started laughing, this girl is hilarious. "I don't care, i can't be close to you?" I asked.

"Mm m" She said.

"Imma take you home before i go to the barbershop ight"

"No" She said.

"Why not?"

"Cause when i'm at home it's always just me, my dad is there sometime but sometimes he leaves and it's just me and i don't like that" She explained.

"Okay you can stay with me until he get back, what you wan do doe?"

"I don't mind, we can do whatever" She said rubbing my hair.

"You wanna go get some clothes from yo house?" I asked.

"I kinda like your clothes, they're comfy" She said.

"So no?"

"No" She said. "No no no no no, cupidddd doesn't lieeee" She sang.

"Man i'm fucking hungry" I said. Zuri hit me in my mouth.

"Watch your mouth" She said continuing to play in my hair.

"Hit me again we gone be fighting in this bitch" I said.

"Please" She mumbled. "I'll whoop your ass" She whispered.

"Huh?" I asked.

"It's beautiful outside don't ya think?" She said making me laugh. "No I'm hungry too"
