04- Not sonic

chaewon cleaned her ears to make sure she heard what jaemin had said, "huh? can you say that again?"

"i said would you want to be my girlfriend" the blue hair boy restated. 

chaewon almost burst out laughing, "you and me? no, there is no way I'm going to be with you." 

jaemin scoffed, "i only need you so that daeun can get jealous and run back to me."

"with what you just told me, yeah no. i want to say yes, but I don't want to be with a boy whose heart belongs to someone else."

"since you guys used to be friends it would make her more jealous than if I just got another girl."

"but what if I don't want to?" chaewon rolled her eyes.

"then I would tell the principal about you breaking the computer. and oh, you would have to pay a hefty fine. you don't want to pay that fine, do you?" jaemin said walking towards the girl again. 

"so then what's going to happen with the computer?" chaewon asked pointing to it. jaemin looked over to where the girl was pointing at, "and i'll pay for that, so deal?"

chaewon just sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, she didn't want to make her mom work her ass off for her daughter not watching where she was going. 

"deal, put on one condition," chaewon crossed her arms looking at the boy with a settling look, "i'm not gonna act like a pawn with you,"

jaemin looked at the girl with a considerable look in his face, "you do what I want you to do, it's my plan remember? I call the shots here," he said pointing to himself solemnly. 

"starts tomorrow," he said, "oh, and make sure not to tell anyone about it being fake. especially those friends of yours." jaemin added giving her one last wink before heading off to god knows what.

"choi chaewon, what did you get yourself into?" she asked herself and sighed. 

once lunch rolled around chaewon ultimately decided to not tell sana or jinyoung even though it made her feel guilty. chaewon felt an arm wrap around her waist, she already knew who it was.

"wonie! class was so tiring today," sana whined.

chaewon turned around and ruffled sana's hair, "let's go eat then." she said with a warm smile.

both girls got their trays and sat down sana already digging into the tteokbokki, she noticed that chaewon was staring at something or someone too long.

"Earth to chaewon" sana said waving her hands in front of her friend's face. chaewon lost her trace of thought and looked at sana. before sana could say anything else jinyoung joined them. 

"sorry, had to do something for the teacher" he answered with a smile.

"looks like daeun and jaemin are not back together still" sana said looking at daeun who was sitting with her group of friends.

" wonder who will be the next" sana added.

by that comment, chaewon almost spitted out her rice and started to cough which got the attention of sana and jinyoung.

"sorry, just choked on a piece of rice" she said coughing in between each word.
