First Time Sharing Room Part-1

"Bondita, are you okay? You do look a little unwell. If you are feeling sick then I will cook the curry. Go and get some rest"-Sampoorna said all the while looking at Bondita's swollen eyes.

To her, Bondita looked as if she would faint any second due to exhaustion. Her eyes were swollen, her lips looked chaffed.

"Her face had tear marks probably or was it her imagination"-Sampoorna thought to herself.

She couldn't help but miss her sister. The sister who she draped saree on. The sister whom she was the closest to, Bondita was the one with whom she had sat in trees and gossiped innocently while having tamarinds. Not knowing the cruelties of the world around them.

The sister whose mental state she had ruined during her first menstruation and disastrous suhagraat. When ever she looked back in the past, she couldn't help but feel ashamed of herself and the dark pit that she had fallen into after Saurabh's death under everyone's influence.

The girl, she knew as a child had changed so much as an adult that every time she looked at her she felt her heart clench.

There were days, Sampoorna looked into the mirror and couldn't even recognize herself due to her deeds.

But she was determined to change slowly. And she believed she was changing herself into the person she was before all this happened. It was taking her time but she kept Hoping for the best.

"Sampoorna Didi, I am fine. You don't need to take on my workload. Spend some time with sasur ji instead"-Bondita said to her, all the while stirring the curry.

She sent Sampoorna out of the kitchen almost forcefully. A part of her wanted to cry on her lap about everything she was feeling at this moment. But another mature part of her warned her to not share anything with the woman that had a part in ruining her life years back. Forgetting the close relationship they had once shared.

She could see Sampoorna changing herself little by little. But the little Bondita that still resided in her heart was scared to trust this changed Sampoorna. She had became too hardhearted to trust someone again like that. One time was enough.

"Boudi, can you give me some achar (pickle) that you made last month? I am craving it so badly"-her self talk session was broken by Batuk's whining.

Batuk in reality was not craving anything but the truth was, he simply wanted to distract her from her thoughts.

He often found himself in a crossroad regarding his Dada and Boudi's relationship. He loved them both and could kill for their sake even but the pain in Bondita's eyes made him lean a little more in her side. It also helped that she always hid his terrible results as well as gave him delicious foods cooked especially for him hiding from everyone especially his Dada.

But a part of him also wanted them to patch up. He wanted them to be happy in their married life. And mostly he just wanted to see his Boudi smiling after a long day in the arms of his dada.

"Batuk, absolutely not! dinner is in an hour, so no achar for you. It's not good to have it after having sweets. I will give it to you after dinner. Otherwise you will have acidity"-Batuk smiled at her words for her motherly care reflected on her face, when she scolded him.

The care that he never received before was given by her. Batuk Roy Chowdhury's family had everything money could buy from his childhood, but it was only after his Boudi's arrival that he got the love that he was missing in his life. Her scolding even had love and care for him hidden in it.

Batuk smiled when his Boudi started blabbering to him about his health. And that is how, he made her mind occupied for the next hour until dinner.

"Bondita Boudi the curry is excellent today. Your hands have magic"-Anirudh felt proud of the fact that Somnath complimented his wife. Honestly, every accomplishment of Bondita felt extremely precious to him.
